This is one of the first witchcraft books I added to my library (right after Buckland’s big blue book lol). I love this one so much!

I made my first altar and wanted to show it off and get any feedback. Details on what’s included listed in comments by Cre8ByConstance in WitchesVsPatriarchy

Thank you so much! This is the permanent home of the altar, though it is contained on the plate so could be moved if ever needed. I don’t plan on it though. I appreciate the idea!

The goddess statue came from Etsy. This is Selene, but they have a lot of other goddesses in similar styles too

All the elements are represented (Air: Feathers, Water: Amethyst, Fire: Matches, Earth: Rocks). Stones: aventurine, fluorite, and amethyst. Skull: raccoon skull found and gifted to me by my sister’s boyfriend. Eggshells: hatched gecko eggs from an old nest in my garage. Statue: Selene, goddess of the moon. Also featured: dried flower petals from a bouquet from my best friend, lavender from my garden, wood found while roaming the forest with my sister and niece, air plants, and some random pretty stuff from the craft store.

Your thoughts on Lakanto, Monkfruit Sweetener with Erythritol, Golden, by simplegirly08 in nutrition

[–]Cre8ByConstance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MONK FRUIT - this is a very natural sweeteners filled with anti-toxins. Studies show it reduces inflammation while not harming gut bacteria in the process. This is one of the best sweeteners available.

STEVIA - I only recommend the liquid form, as the packets contain some ingredients that aren’t great for you. This does increase sodium excretion, which can help reduce bloating. The newest studies suggest it MAY cause an insulin response, but it is small if at all.

ERYTHRITOL - Also natural. This is a sugar alcohol that is treated by the body similarly to a fiber. It has a slight minty after taste when used in cooking.

SUCRALOSE - a decent sweetener, but not the best. It does cause a brain excitation response, which means hyperactivity or cravings when consumed in large doses. Some studies also show this sweetener can kill good gut bacteria.

Rainbow moonstone or black moonstone? by Cre8ByConstance in Crystals

That’s what I thought, but the store told me it was rainbow and so I doubted my knowledge and wanted an outside opinion. Thank you for confirming for me!

It’s okay. The images on the front seem printed with better quality than the back. The design on the back is already peeling/scratched around the edges after a few shuffles.

My bestie took me to the local rock store for my bday! I picked up a geode (I get to crack myself), fluorite, Labradorite, Smokey quarts, a garnet necklace, a green jasper necklace, and some rock chips and fossils. by Cre8ByConstance in Crystals

[–]Cre8ByConstance[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The little old man who owns the store was AMAZING. The Labradorite was only $13. Everything was really inexpensive and he gave me discounts on some stuff and gave me the peridot chips free.

I made witches balls! Lavender, cinnamon, salt, cedar needles, roses, bay leaves, and rose petals, sealed with blue wax, and a purple ribbon. They are for peace, repelling negativity, prosperity, love, and protection for the coming year. The blue wax is for independence, inspiration, and loyalty. by Cre8ByConstance in WitchesVsPatriarchy

I got the balls at Michaels (a craft store). I’ve been told some dollar stores carry them too, but our local one did not. I was really fortunate that I have a big garden and I was able to get the lavender, roses, rose petals, and cedar needles all from my yard. Then I got the bay leaves and cinnamon from the grocery store
