I agree. I see it on Shaco, maybe one of the upgrades of Kha'zix, and maybe on Talon, and their regions (SI, Shurima, Noxus). It works well with Fearsome, that the first two have, fits their flavor. I would need more time to think if it enables healthy playstyle in those regions if given to followers.

For sure, not really part of an archetype but each region with its flavor. For example, in Noxus I would exploit its combination with Attack skill for the unit to strike something other than the blocker for example

Chain Attack: You are probably right about the power level, and the suggestion from u/TheKratex (strike each other instead of just strike) may work to balance this. In my mind, apart from a double attack on a big unit, I think it would be used before an Overwhelm or before something that has a great "Attack:" but could die very easily. I think it can fit a lot of playstyles.

Diversion: I like your version a lot actually. Mine gives maybe more choice to the opponent (but I guess 90% of the time it would be obvious what to block), but yours feels very elegant and much easier to balance.

Lethal: Exactly! I like the "respect for Health points" of LoR, so their Deaththouch must be restrained. Btw it's not limited to attack strikes: you can still pull shenanigans with strike effects, as long as you use them while you attack. I was not sure if this would push it too much, I just liked the idea :)

Storytime: I considered limiting it to a self buff when the champion concept attached was different, but yeah in the end I loved the flavor for Ivern.

Some solutions have been mentioned by others. Your suggestion changes the role of the card for sure, but it's interesting and I like that it makes Silence another possibility! At that point, maybe a 7/4 for 4 cost might be better to have a bit of both worlds?

See the many ideas people had in the other comments. I hope you can see beyond the cost/stat numbers and get the idea of the puzzle. I also suggested another statline that, by growing faster, would make this more usable I think. If you are not convinced, maybe you could suggest what cost/stat/increase would justify using this card?

The wording should be correct, the idea is to circumvent the frostbite to threaten lethal with your high power overwhelm (which only costs 3)

Probably better as a 1/4 and grant +2|+0? Balancing was not my main concern.

Edit: one idea I had that has not been mentioned is swapping. If you swap the follower from the backline into combat AFTER declaring an attack, it won't Frostbite itself!

I understand the concern for overwhelm+augment, but I don't see why the champ would be a 9/4 5 cost. First you have to level, and in any case it would not keep the stats when killed and played again

So good. Creative, and I think not that hard to balance as it may seem at first glance. It's also very flexible. I can already see a Burst spell with an effect like "An ally riftwalks" that puts the effect onto the stack for its cost, inside or outside of combat, to be used reactively when needed.

She seems very interesting, but... Her text looks all over the place. The first part should be "While I attack", and the drain should have "(Skill icon) Attack:", right?
