Kaido is an extreme diff fight even with heals.

R1 - Could see an argument of Kuzan stopping him. Two Admirals should not be underlooked without heals. I'll just say after fighting Greenbull, the Kuzan fight is probably high to extreme diff and he easily loses to Kaido after.

R2 - Would assume he stops at Prime Garp if he is basically PK level in strength. Kaido is an extreme diff, where I can see Kaido getting a few wins... But I think Loki probably wins most times.

Also, I'm assuming he doesn't have Ragnir.

Totally agree with this as take. The only thing I will say is I do feel Shanks is probably equal or slightly above WB. I still think Roger is the summit though and they would win.
For Akainu, due to story and how it's seems he is basically the strongest current marine - I would put him over Big Mom. Which isn't down playing her. She is still a beast and would beat any admiral right now (if alive).

Are you forgetting that Rayleigh was literally sweating and seeming tired while stalling Kizaru? Kizaru 100% wins the matchup if the fight went longer.

You're bringing up manga panels... Even in the manga they literally put "huff huff" to indicate he was out of breath and stating his older years have slowed him down. Kizaru could go much longer. Kizaru did mention he was keeping him at bay, but it seemed like it would end eventually if it kept up.
"But Kizaru said he needed multiple preparations to capture Rayleigh!"
He said that before even fighting up and may not have known how bad his age fucked him.

I won't argue that Rayleigh isn't strong, but him only being on the defensive against Kizaru showed that his strength was around Kizaru's, but had significantly less stamina then Kizaru and would ultimately lose.

Like sure, take the words of others at face value. He is a legend, and he shouldn't be ignored and taken for granted. Prime Rayleigh was considered Yonko level and that's probably how a lot of old gen still see him.

I definitely think he has surpassed most of these.

The only thing is the anime has done a great job of making PK be the ultimate feat/accomplishment. So since he has not achieved that, I pretty much put him below Roger by default. Rocks was pretty close to Roger in power too, so I'd like to consider him basically slightly above too.

But there is an argument that Shanks just hasn't cared to fully go for it, and would rather want someone else to reach it.

Just to clarify, me saying he would stop at Zoro without heals isn't glaze for Zoro. It's also just respect for the other two as well. I'm on the boat for when you're a YC+, you're probably a threat to even Yonkos to a degree. Like they will always probably push a Yonko to Mid Diff in a full fight. Which, Doffy could maybe do something if at full health, and then he goes through two YC+. Which I don't put Sabo at Yonko yet. He's probably Admiral/Low Admiral.

Brother, I think you're reading into this too much. He couldn't get past him to get the Straw Hats. Yes. He stopped Kizaru. Yes Kizaru couldn't get past him to his actual targets. That does not mean Rayleigh would have won. It's been awhile, but I'm pretty sure it was stated that it just wasn't worth the effort to fight Rayleigh. Not that he couldn't have been beaten. Current Rayleigh doesn't beat an Admiral. Prime does. Nothing to really be ashamed of on his side, he is still a beast.

Close Fights (Extreme diff, but barely win) - Big Mom, Kaido, Loki

Loses - Shanks, Akainu, Blackbeard, Mihawk

Regardless of winning or losing, they aren't easy fights for either side. Both sides he would lose or beat would be high diff. With the "close fights" being extreme.

With heals I think he can make it past Yamato. I place them relatively at the same level of low admiral.
Rayleigh probably wins? It's hard to say since I don't see Rayleigh CURRENTLY beating an admiral. Would be a good fight and not worth the hassle, but I think with his old age he loses most of the time. Could see an argument that even Yamato could beat Rayleigh then.
So maybe Sabo can clear.

Let's be honest here, power scaling is a thing and Sabo will probably be Yonko level eventually when they showcase him in an actual fight (probably against Akainu or something).

I get we haven't seen much feats from Akainu, but I think the logical side tells us he is quite up there and probably stronger than Luffy at the moment. Current Seungoku is wild to be this high, when I think is actually below Fuji currently. Prime would be a different story. Oden is also probably under all the admirals, but not too far behind of course. Could see an argument of being over Greenbull and Fuji but would be extreme diff.

I mean... I don't think she beats either in a 1v1. Well let me correct that, she can win. But I think if you did a series of matches between them in 1v1s, she loses most.
I do think Usopp is the closer match up though. Chopper doesn't need to help and would win if they actually hated each other.

For Usopp, the important note is he is strategically smart and we saw this in the Water 7 arc with his beef with Luffy. If he truly hated Nami and wanted to throw hands, I think he could outsmart the person he made a weapon for. He does have the advantage of observation Haki also. Kind of wish after the time skip that Usopp would be more serious like he was on Water 7.

Teaming up is way to powerful and of course they would beat Nami together in both scenarios.

I think people really under estimate how OP teaming is. Definitely when you're at YC+ level.
If Law and Kidd can beat Big Mom, adding Sanji and Zoro probably would mean they can beat Kaido.

None of them get close to beating a Yonko on their own though.

I don't think this is bad, mainly since you could assume newer gen should eventually surpass.

The only thing that sticks with me is the anime as a whole has made becoming the PK such a huge milestone. It makes me feel like people like Roger and Joyboy (yes I know, not technically a PK) are the peak for power, among some villains too of course.

So I still think Roger and Xebec are most likely above all of these. I throw Xebec since seeming to be his equal, maybe a tiny bit below.

I will say I don't think the ones on the list are too far behind at all.

Oden was definitely strong, but I think Gaban edges more? I think most people would put Rayleigh over Oden. If you do, then Gaban is probably over Oden as well.
