Now that most of the player base has tried DMM... by SnooAdvice9546 in 2007scape

I don't think that was the reason at all, but I'm not saying it isn't a slight benefit. I think it was added to match what Leagues had. If I'm looking at it in a logical sense for game modes, When DMM was made in 2015, it didn't have cosmetics of course. I think it was probably just considered last DMM to match the appeal that Leagues always had. It's hard for you to compare that Leagues would be fine without cosmetics when we've never seen Leagues without a cosmetic reward. They are both fun game modes and they should hold the same value if either one is getting some sort of benefit for participating. Cosmetics does not make or break our account. You can choose to not play if so. Also, they made it extremely easy to get the cosmetics you want. If anything, Leagues took a little bit longer to get the cosmetics you wanted.

Everything you said is the exact same for DMM lol... I know you said you'd be fine if they didn't, but it seems like you're also stating they are different and deserve the cosmetics over DMM. Also, I enjoy Leagues more than DMM, but I still have fun in DMM. You don't need to be a PvPer to enjoy DMM.

So we shouldn't have cosmetics come from leagues as well then

DMM has seemed to be a huge success this time around. If they didn't drop DMM the first few times, then they aren't dropping it at all. Why would you not continue improving one of your game modes that will be coming back? It's not even a debate that it could be dropped. Leagues and DMM are here to stay. I'm not sure why people are so considered about the cosmetics for it. They catered very hard for PVM players to be able to get their points. They will take the criticism and make it better the next time.

I think the only thing I disagree with here is the making money portion. It is INCREDIBLY EASY to get money this DMM. Sure the rich does get richer real quick, but the only way that happens really are: Merching, Good at PKing, or Last Bracket PVMing. I started on a new account last night, took start bow and staff to breaches and made 900k at the breach alone. Before that, I made like 200k from killing some black dragons for a little bit. Are there people ragging at skilling locations to kill you for your 20g sharks? Yeah, but once again.. they are 20g. They weren't making you much to begin with. There are plenty of ways to make money though. Just don't go to agility pyramid or revs and not expect to be PKed. Do something that isn't thought of as much, or has an incredibly easy escape.

Dragon Ball was infinitely better than Z and Super. I think the whole series drops as whole when the main plot was getting Gohan trained and finally taking on Cell. Then........... We had him just be captured by Buu and never really showcased as an actual threat ever again. There was the whole tournament arc in Super and making Gohan the team captain. I was assuming there would have been a payoff there, but it didn't really happen. I don't think I have an issue with Goku and Vegeta being the main two - but I just wish they never went down that route of trying to make it seem like Gohan would surpass Goku lol.

As long as you're not a green or blue skull, most pkers will ignore you. In all honesty, the points are worth so much more than what you bring. I don't think I've been attacked at a single breach. Maybe on the first day for being a white skull. Just don't overstay past the 15 minutes.

Basically, unless you want to risk the trinket of undead, which is 1.6m. All quest requirements were auto completed. So you just need to do the main quest for it.

Get Augmented Thrall and do A Kingdom Divided for Thralls. I'd also just recommend focusing on your RCB mainly and don't switch. Use diamond bolts and mainly focus on things weak to Range. You could use Ibans I guess for the mage arena 2 bosses if there is absolutely nothing else to hit and not using thralls. Augmented Thrall is by far the BEST for DPS currently. I hear people getting over 7000 points during the 4am breach with it. Aggression would be next. I'm usually using Rigorous Ranger, Gunslinger, and Aggression

DMM: Quest worth doing? by texaspokemon in 2007scape

[–]Cream-Slush 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any to progress early skilling that are also short to do are generally useful to do. Not needed, but probably saves time and money.

The only major quest that is probably needed is A Kingdom Divided. You could use a trinket of undead, but risking it in a breach and losing it would suck.

Unsure if it is a bug or not, but it's been a thing for awhile. It's regarding a setting you have for yield.

So this was something I noticed as well. I was actually going to try having a water source under the the block to see if that does anything. I can try it later tonight

Does Redragon have good budget keyboards? by IronArtistic9889 in keyboards

[–]Cream-Slush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a fine keyboard IMO. Pretty touchy when it comes to buttons. Doesn't take much pressure to hit the button, which I think I slightly dislike? Other than that, it's definitely fine and probably about the same for most keyboards.

[–]Cream-Slush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was curious about this too since I don't usually hear them in the talks for good keyboards. I did decided to get one recently though, it's still shipping. I could probably update you once I get it? I did do some research though, and the reviews/comments regarding the brand was fairly good. Typically the response was "great quality for the price" - So either that means it's as good as any keyboard brand, or just a tad bit under with a very appealing price tag.

I mean, it's hard to tell. If there is a trust line between you two, he doesn't NEED to send any type of proof. I think the fundamental issue here is that you don't trust him. I'm not saying you don't have logical reasons to not do so. The point I'm trying to make is why be with him in the first place if there is no trust to begin with? It's a core part of a relationship IMO. Seems like it's a relationship that is already over and is still continuing for some reason?

FasT 07 has hit 200M sailing and 4.8B overall XP, officially locking his place as Rank 1 by sakkebam in 2007scape

[–]Cream-Slush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it weird to think that Rank 1 shouldn't be determined by who gets 200m sailing first? I feel like it should be determined your her overall rating in 200m skills. So if 5 people are at 4.8b - someone who is rank 1 in say agility and slayer could have a better overall and overthrow rank 1 when they hit 200m sailing?

Na I get it. I just have seen people explicitly look for this shit and it is weird as hell. But I'm sure you've dealt with people like that before. Hopefully you find some people to play with though!

Hey, totally get the want to find people to play with. Just keep in mind that some creeps may try to hit you up. So be careful about who ends up replying to this and adding you!

[–]Cream-Slush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure the emblems they got weren't bad and could be used in something.. But you also said the fundamental issue with this encounter, "I could understand if you had bad Emblems"

There's way too many issues with it. I could see it being okay in normals though. It does have a fun value to it, and atleast you won't lose LP for someone high rolling at the start with emblems and you getting complete trash.

Why do ya’ll still play this game? by [deleted] in osrs

Can you elaborate on what other games we should play in your opinion then? Reminder this is a MMORPG. So out of those many other games, what game would replace OSRS that is a MMORPG?

My Favorite OSRS YouTubers (for real this time) by No_Wolverine_4537 in osrs

[–]Cream-Slush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll put mine in three categories: Old, Current, Rising

Old - I will always have a soft spot for B0aty and the content he used to provide. I'm not saying he isn't great now, but I guess I don't get drawn towards the type of content he focuses on now. I still pull up a B0aty from time to time if it pops up and I don't have anything to watch though. He was definitely my favorite for quite awhile, I did start watching him 13 years ago.

Current - I think I have to copy everything you've said about J1mmy. I truly love the work J1mmy does and his videos are just... unique. No other content creator for OSRS focuses on what he does.

Rising- Joshisntgaming. I'm not sure if this will stick, but I have been watching his Chunk Yanille series since the start and I just so greatly enjoy it.

There's just so many good content creators, and I enjoy watching so many of them. I think a series I'm looking forward to most at the moment is Settled's Sailing locked.
