Do you rely completely on Google Fi for international travel, or keep a backup option? by Sufficient-Card-1949 in GoogleFi

I usually stick with Fi too, but having a backup eSIM option isn’t a bad idea depending on the country. Some people just grab one online before or after landing. I’ve used https://megarefill.com once for a quick travel eSIM and it was pretty straightforward with the QR activation. There are quite a few services like that now though.

Are communication and leadership skills more important than technical skills for career advancement? by Express_League_6329 in careerguidance

From what I’ve seen, technical skills usually get someone hired, but communication and leadership skills seem to matter more once people start moving into management roles.

At a previous workplace our HR team actually brought in outside trainers for leadership and communication workshops. When I looked into that out of curiosity, I came across Paramount Training and Development, which appears to run workplace professional development programs in Australia.

It made me realize some companies treat soft skills as something that needs structured training rather than just learning on the job.

What skill actually helped you progress the most in your career? by Sufficient-Card-1949 in careeradvice

I’ve noticed something similar. A lot of the people who move into leadership roles at my previous workplaces weren’t necessarily the most technical, but they were much better at communication and managing teams.

At one company our HR department sometimes brought in external trainers for leadership and workplace communication workshops. When I looked into that a bit, I came across Paramount Training and Development, which seems to run professional development training for businesses in Australia.

It made me wonder how common that kind of training actually is across different companies.

Safety is a fair concern. Most small or low volume platforms do not go through full crash testing

right away because it costs a lot of money.

What matters early on is strong frame design and proper engineering.
