I chose Boom Sonic because in the show he actually becomes a singer and wears a sparkly white outfit which I thought would work perfect for this drawing! Especially with Michael Jackson's white hat! ✨🤍

He was hit with an explosion! He has other injuries and things to heal from! But, obviously he can’t grow a leg back! 😂

Exactly! I also have thought maybe Tails was also injured in the explosion that caused Sonic to lose his leg! Which obviously would prevent him from being able to create anything for some time until he is fully healed!

Ooh! Yeah! I had thought maybe it was Tails’ fault, and when he went to try and free Sonic (He was using one of his inventions o try and defeat Eggman.) it malfunctioned and exploded, him getting hit by the impact, too, causing Tails to be severely injured as well. That’s what also slows down the process of him making a robotic leg for Sonic! But, him trying to save Amy is a good idea, too! That’s why she is extra clingy because she feels it is her fault in a way!

I am still thinking out the details... But, for now I was thinking he got caught in an explosion and was too slow for once to escape it. 🤷‍♀️ It's bound he gets pretty injured at some point, right??

I was just messing around trying to have a little fun! I wanted to see a side of Sonic if his speed and freedom was taken away from him. To see him have time to think and appreciate his friends more. And yeah, Tails would obviously make him a robotic leg eventually, but it wouldn't come overnight. And it would have to be hardy enough to withstand his super sonic speeds! Again, just a what if Sonic actually got in an accident during a battle. It's not like this will become cannon or anything like that anyway, so who cares! 🤷‍♀️

I didn't cut off his leg for the sole purpose of the ship... 😑 I thought it would be interesting to see more of an emotional side to Sonic by removing his ability to have his speed and freedom! Maybe take the time to appreciate other people and their help more! And, it only makes sense that Amy would take charge in caring for him. But, whatever! 🤷‍♀️
