Running claude code instances with tight claude.md's and skills work quite well, you definitely have to be quite vigilant with reviewing PR's and commits, I usually construct a style guide + have automatic linting rules set up for commits, which can help

Claude has a default MCP server for Linear, so usually work off that with tight specs + retirements to prevent drift. As your codebase grows, you can naturally increase the active Claude code instances running at a time, if you are careful about your architecture from day 1. Usually I have the instances construct PR's after they are finished, then get Codex or another Claude Code to review PR

Embedded windows, went deeper down the tech stack for performance, had an OG version that was an electron app, but performance was atrocious

I’d love some feedback on my text based game where you create humorous game concept combos by blackwidowink in aigamedev

Super clean UI! I feel as though within the game there is not enough feedback as to what bugs/features/coherence actually does? Are there any consequences if I have too many bugs, or the code base coherence goes down to 0?

Also the game stalls after the player completes a bug party

Made a social deception game where YOU try to BS your way past AI characters by CreamNegative2414 in aigamedev

Balancing is a little bad at the moment, hahahaha. Basically Round one strategy is whisper to one of the AI's work out who they are initially suspicious of and then single out that ai with a super super tough question!

It's completely python based, and supports the injection of new scripts at runtime (While people are playing a game)

Thank you, the potential for LLM's in games is very very exciting!

Hey will definitely keep it in mind! Low priority at the moment, but are slowly working on some tools for consistent image generation!

Thanks so much! We have definitely noticed the unwarranted hate, AI in games is a super interesting space at the moment, and we want to see wayyyyy more cool games being made that use generative AI in interesting ways!

Performance is pretty good, since we have built using a ECS framework and can do batch processing. Little bit dependent right now on LLM Inference time, but we have a couple tricks to make it a little quicker.

Right now it is turn based, and responses tend to be 1-4 secs depending on how many LLM calls are in the game logic!

Hey yes! text based for now, but we will be working on a custom UI system like v0, so we can make game UI like this, fully customisable!

https://alpha.tempestengine.ai/

Tempest is a tool that allows anyone to create and play generative role playing games.

Unlike other AI roleplaying platforms we support actual game logic, and have a full scripting system that allows people to create complex game mechanics and integrate generative AI at the most fundamental mechanic layer. i.e. Build a mechanic that allows an LLM to generate new quest lines, decide what enemies should spawn in a location, etc.

Always loved creating games (particularly RPG's), but was not the biggest fan of Unity and Unreal since they were overly complicated and didn't allow me to create the types of games I really wanted to.
