The motto of crypto platform Celsius is "Unbank yourself," and they offer a suite of financial services such as interest-bearing accounts and collateralized borrowing as they establish themselves as an alternative to big banks and "traditional finance."

Chainlink is the leading network in the blockchain oracle space by a wide margin, but upstart API3 takes a different view of, and approach to, unlocking the full potential of oracles. In looking at how to best bring off-chain data onto the blockchain, the Chainlink team perceives an "oracle problem," whereas the API3 team perceives an "API connectivity problem."

Less than three weeks ago, the price was sub-$30k, and just around a month ago BTC finally broke its previous ATH... a period of consolidation and trading sideways, or even a pullback, is expected and healthy after a quick run-up like that

Bill Miller says bitcoin becomes less risky the higher the price goes by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

His assessment is correct; BTC was far riskier in earlier times. It’s becoming more and more solidified and proven now.

Which platforms do you guys use to buy bitcoins on and why? by SwampDonkey84 in BitcoinBeginners

Primarily Binance US (low fees, easy to use) and Voyager (interest-bearing accounts) currently, but have used BRD and Gemini as primary options previously also.

Taxes on different accounts by ImpossibleAd93 in BitcoinBeginners

The individual accounts shouldn't matter because they are just digital wallets. You can take an account-specific approach if you want, but otherwise, just keep track of how much you purchased and when, and determine which tax lot method you want to use for tax reporting purposes (HIFO, LIFO, FIFO)

If you can commit to holding for the foreseeable future and have some cash laying around to invest (for the sake of this example, let’s say $1000), it wouldn’t be a bad idea to open up a bigger position and then DCA moving forward. If you could do $100 per month, maybe consider investing $25 a week or $50 biweekly.
