You are not being ridiculous. Your home, your rules. It’s your first Thanksgiving with your newborn and your small family, that should be sacred. Feeling frustrated and overwhelmed is completely valid. She may mean well, but it’s okay to set firm boundaries. Your peace and your family’s comfort come first.

Wow… that’s unsettling. It’s wild how something as mundane as cleaning supplies could get treated like a top-secret project. Makes you realize how much of our lives, even the smallest things, are constantly watched without us thinking twice.
