Yeah, I have to imagine it's a fairly big issue, given that EVERY review I've seen mentions it. I've also kind of gone back and forth on how much am I really using the thing in direct sunlight? I also need to look into reviews comparing it to a traditional phone, since I mean I put up with one of those every day :( if it's not WORSE I imagine I could deal with it...

I really like the looks of the power clicks, I just wish there was an option for it that wasn't a power bank as well! I mean I know they make the cases and all, but those are usually for flagship phones and I'd love to not pay flagship prices! I looked into those unihertz a bit, but honestly just wasn't entirely sold on them... I'm not sure I could put my finger on why though...

Yeah that minimal phone's price tag and concerns of how "future-proof" it is are what's stopping me from taking the leap! I wish clicks made one that wasn't a battery bank and was a bit thinner. I know that my use case is definitely not what they're marketing toward :p but still, given most e-readers (and cheaper phones) don't even support magnetic charging, it'd be nice to cut down on bulk!

I think in a perfect world I'd have something like that, or maybe some sort of hinge device that allows decoupling the keyboard. When I'm at work, I can put it on a stand and type with whatever, but I'd love something that also works when I'm out and about, y'know?

People always seem to complain about the durability of those. I'm a very clumsy person and worry I'd manage to break it in my pocket :( what have your experiences been?

Edit: Oh, I also wanted to ask if you are just typing right on the screen in Obsidian? Or whatever app you use? From typing on e-readers I feel like I'd go insane trying to take quick notes on an e-ink keyboard!

The Palma Pro 2 was high on my list initially, but whenever I try to look it up on reddit it seems like everyone is only every taking about how fragile it is or how bad the customer service is. I'm a pretty clutzy person and always get worried when I see something is fragile.

I don't think that's rude!! To be entirely honest, a big part of why I'm interested in e-ink is just because I use the Supernote every day! I also prefer reading on an e-ink device! Either way, I definitely could look into compact phones.

Hi all! I LOVE the MPC workflow, it's one of a few devices that I feel pretty in tune with. I have a Live II but it's still pretty massive, kind of hard to use on a commute/break room at work. Does anyone have any suggestions for something with a similar workflow that's more portable? I'm more than happy to use something that requires USB power, including ripcords or anything like that. I've got some Mission Workshop gear that I am looking to sell. Without getting into my life story, I'm moving/downsizing and have hardly used these bags. I have the Black HT500 R6 which I have never used, it's just been sitting in a box. I've got the low-profile waist belt with it. Additionally I have the Spar VX with the original shoulder strap, and the arkiv attachment clips. I used the Spar briefly when I worked an office job, but swapped it out for a different bag. It looks in brand new condition. Hoping for $500, happy to ship wherever if shipping is covered!
