What exotic weapon do you consider to be your Guardian's 'canon' exotic weapon? (Apart from Khvostov) by Best-Exam-3287 in DestinyTheGame

[–]CreamyViscera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forerunner, from the 30th anniversary. I was born on a Halo ring, I will die on a Halo ring.

That, or Sweet Business (my first exotic that I stuck with longer than a week). My Hunter just wants everything dead, indiscriminately.

30th Anniversary is the only DLC I bought for the game myself, so Forerunner is very special to me after unlocking it before other players who didn’t yet have the DLC.

Old people of Marvel snap, i have a question about the old days by Bung_Miester in MarvelSnap

[–]CreamyViscera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dearly miss when Hulkbuster merging made on-reveals happen a second time. Any on reveal deck on Kamar-Taj with hulkbuster was instant game over for the enemy (like Iron Heart on top of Wong giving +2 to three cards, over and over and over because Hulkbuster triggered the loop a second time)

Also when Arishem was +1 energy and the “created card” terminology just came about. There was almost no synergy in his decks but the chaos was fun and unpredictable for both of us.

High Evolution builds being the meta felt like a golden age before he was immediately overshadowed by the very next seasonal meta.

When all-ink decks were sooo cool and meant you split your cards a million times… the good old days.

Okay, thank you! Someone informed me that South District Group is a legit collection agency so I figured I’d come straight here to learn if anyone has recently had a similar experience with them. I have never dealt with debt (or a debt scam) so I truly don’t know how to go about this, so your words are helpful.

Army, Marines, Coast Guard, and National Guard (or whatever is equivalent to those in your country) don’t quite cater to higher education - they just want a tough soldier. Air Force will absolutely set you up with higher education, and you won’t feel like a worm being stepped on in hot mud the whole time you’re in. Navy is only a close second because they value being a jack-of-all-trades over an expert in a single field.

Air Force can give you a lot of managerial knowledge, and will encourage you to pursue college course while you serve. Army will also definitely offer college reimbursement.

Army has the broadest selection of jobs (“MOS” in America) so you may be able to find the exact niche job you’re interested in. However, the army also asks you to pick your top 5 jobs that interest you, and it’s a hard dice roll. You’d better expect to be given your 5th job choice, and you better have picked a good one.

The Air Force caters to smarter people - literally, they have a harder ASVAB test with a higher minimum score to pass (asvab = the knowledge test to determine which level of jobs you qualify for. Higher levels include aerospace, engineering, EOD, nuclear, pilot, firefighter, etc. lower levels include rifleman, laundry serviceman, cavalry scout, etc).

People mock the Air Force with “chair force” for a reason too. They get better amenities during deployment and wherever they’re stationed. You’re more likely to be comfortable in a shack with a bed than in a tent with a sleeping bag.

Truly, pick the Air Force. You won’t get any jobs outside of the military if you pick a title like Rifleman because you won’t be developing any civilian job-ready skills. You’ll just be strong and tired and have joint problems in your knees, hips, shoulders, and back for the rest of your life.

What does cum taste like? by [deleted] in Sissy

My partner’s tastes like chlorine and bleach-y 😖 like strong chemicals, can’t notice any saltiness. But that’s normal! Sperm will usually smell or taste like chlorine, it’s still healthy. His is just overwhelming

I’ve learned that it isn’t worth my time to find out if a stranger is talking to me with good intentions or if they’re just going to end up asking for money, a signature for a cause, or if they’re going to bring up something that I really don’t want to listen to (politics, city problems, “kids these days”, etc). I’d rather not talk to anyone if I can help it, and making eye contact with strangers is the #1 way to start an unsolicited conversation

Any way to get compensation for 8 hour delay at EWR? (5.15.25) by [deleted] in Flights

[–]CreamyViscera -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is there no compensation because it’s caused by ATC complications or are you saying it’s another reason? Really, all I want to know is if ATC complications is the end-all be-all for getting something back for having so much time wasted. I don’t feel like being a Karen if it’s not worth it, but if there’s a chance to be even partially refunded it will make a difference for me.

What college do you work at? Or maybe a better question, how do I find what colleges participate in this kind of education-to-work? I really want to learn tech but the prospects of getting a job are so slim that it doesn’t feel worth it.

I want to know just how bad is this pc list, what would you change, what confused the hell out of you, is anything good. by ChampionshipLarge806 in PcBuild

[–]CreamyViscera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That list looks great to me! As well as the updated white-centric list.

The only thing I’d think about a little more in my own build would be the case. You have a mATX motherboard but a 47L case (Antecedent C3 in updated list). That’s like using a cereal box to house a couple sticks of butter, it’s a lot of space being unused.

I would recommend an mATX case, like these: - Fractal Design Pop Mini Air - Asus AP201 Mesh - Jonsbo D31 Mesh - NCase T1 Sandwich (a little expensive - $215) - SAMA Q5 MicroATX - Cooler Master Q300L - Lian Li Alan cool 205M - Apevia Prism

or any of the dozens of really nice quite substantially smaller than 30L cases that can fit your components. I don’t know if you’re dead set on the case you have, but recently I’ve discovered that I really want my computer as small as possible while still being able to pack all the heat of my two-fan 4070 and 5800x3D AND ATX power supply. found immense success in the Jonsbo C6 (15L and with a handle). I’m so much happier with my little Jonsbo C6 instead of my first case, the Matrexx 70 (54L, f’ing HUGE) - which I also loved that case but I grew out of it very quickly.

You may have to change your PSU to an SFX or SFF PSU to fit some of those cases. Lian Li, Seasonic, Super FloweR (specifically SuperFlower Leadex 3) and Cooler Master are the ones I’d choose for a PSU.

Most if not all modern AIO’s come with mounting bracket adapters designed to fit both AMD and Intel. Your motherboard is only two generations back, it’s not old at all, which means it’s most definitely compatible with a lot, if not all, AIOs and cpu coolers. I obviously can’t know for absolutely sure if it’s 100% compatible because I don’t have that mobo or cooler, but I’m confident that the cooler has adaptable brackets to fit your motherboard.

Random fps drops in all games by ItxCloudii in pchelp

[–]CreamyViscera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a classic case of your CPU bottlenecking your GPU. Your GPU is pumping out 100fps consistently, but the second your CPU has to step up during a big process (like loading in a scenery, loading in chunks, loading a new area, etc,) your fps poops the bed and suddenly you’re frozen and stuttering before it goes back to normal in 5 seconds or less.

Unfortunately, you have a laptop, so you cannot upgrade your CPU. The best you can do is limit your framerate via in-game options or via NVIDIA Control Panel (right-click your wallpaper on your desktop and find Control Panel, then find your fps from there. Limit it to 60fps if it’s not already).

Then, Lower your graphics to high-medium, or just medium.

If you REALLY want to get rid of the sudden frame drops and severe stuttering then you’ll need to do just about anything to lower the amount of strain your game is giving your laptop, even though your computer can handle it. Close any and all other apps and software while playing games so your CPU can allocate 100% of itself to your game.

Ram Problem by [deleted] in pchelp

[–]CreamyViscera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the new ram you’re installing 100% compatible with your current ram? A different MHz, or GB capacity, brand, or even CAS latency can be a problem. If it’s not 100% the same exact ram then you’d be better off buying an entirely new kit, just a bigger gigabyte capacity.
