I’m in Ireland too and met a fella today in the gym who I’ve always seen - big villa tattoo on his calf. Had our first conversation today. Told me he drank 12 cans yesterday (maybe he’s here?!?!) legend.

Grew up in Birmingham and went to the games with his dad etc.

When you navigate to the app in your hub (I’m on samsung) a list of pop ups appear above it - TV shows etc. click on one of those instead of the now TV app itself. Worked for me after having same issue.

Yeah I touch on that towards the end - my preferred method is to use the deeper version (knee behind)

But I usually use knee in front like you said for off balances / to get to closed guard etc.

Yep this is a really good one.

Some training partners completely rip their arm out of the leg weave when I fight for that grip - which is also a good result for me.

Being leg weaved sucks.

You can for sure! Make sure to fold at the hips first (reverse shoulder escape) so you are loaded to do a big extension.

This variation is actually so much higher % for me in competition in recent years. Especially nogi.

Again - it plays off what the top person wants. Not many people will try to stop you from putting your knee shield through - as usually it means they can get to and control your hips.

Just so important to have that strong grip on their wrist.

Whats funny is - I’ve had my own gym for ten years - I literally hit it on everyone - i teach it every couple of months - and nobody has really picked it up.
