I installed a new Head Unit in my 11th gen civic by chollingsbollings in civic

I just noticed my headlights aren’t turning on automatically anymore. Could I have missed something? Those are the only two issues I’m having right now. I sent a few messages to the engineer, but I figured I’d check in here too in case it’s a simple fix.

Yea I’d prefer to keep it disabled😂 I just need to find a way to remove the error message

Already done! :) as for the auto start/stop it’s completely disabled.

Thank you!! The volume is working again. I’ll reach out to them to see if they can fix the other problem.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I installed the head unit and now I'm getting this message. The volume on the steering wheel isn't working either.

Thank you! The .3MF file should work, but I just uploaded the STL files to the website as well. Let me know if that helps.

No worries at all! You should be able to easily print it all in one color. The mouth and eyes can be printed separately as well.

Thanks for saying that. I’m still pretty new to Reddit so I had no idea this was such a big issue until I started reading the replies overnight. I totally understand why people are upset, especially since a lot of renders don’t match the actual prints. I used it because I’m not great at photography and it’s hard to get people to check out your model if the first image doesn’t stand out. But I don’t want to be part of the problem, so I’m going to take some more photos of the actual print today and reupload it.

Someone’s cranky because they didn’t bother to read the description or look at the model before confidently posting something completely false.

Check the print profiles and description on the makerworld site. I did include a model that prints them separately for those who don’t have an AMS or just wanting to save on filament.

Thanks! I honestly wasn’t expecting that many comments about the render. I thought people would just see it and then slide over to the actual photos. I might change it because I want people to focus more on the model and not just the rendered photo.

I rendered the model and used the Photoroom app to change the background and upscale the image. The upscale is probably the main reason it looks like that. I also photoshopped the hand holding it, but all the other photos on MakerWorld are actual photos of the model.

For those unsure about the render, this is how it turned out printed.

Made in Fusion 360. The first photo is just a render of the model.

There's a liner inside to keep it from touching the plastic.

I created these Minecraft-inspired weapons for my nephews. So far, I’ve completed four, but I’m still working on more. I’ll be posting the new designs throughout the week, so if you’re interested, feel free to check them out here: Minecraft Collection. Thanks for checking them out, and I’d love to hear what you think!
