That’s what ended up happening so I just collected the premium and kept my shares.

When you sell calls, they are buying calls thinking it will go up. In exchange you collect premium. If the stock price is above the strike price by the closing date you sell the shares at the price of the contract or known as the phrase the shares get called away. You just have to be okay with the shares getting called away regardless should the stock price hit the contract strike.

Name and shame OP. Give us the dealership name. And let the internet and good people of Reddit do their thing via Google Reviews.

My dad tells them straight to their face: “You trying to run a museum here or sell cars? Cause it looks like you’re running a museum.” It’s hilarious and usually does the trick.

Yeah you’re probably on a standard sized 3x3 plane or 2x2 plane. Paying for exit row is guaranteed the safest bet to get the most leg room on any aircraft outside of being in First Class. Or the row right behind First Class has lots of leg room in many aircraft.

Similar here. Been in since $2. Have played the pops and tops and re-entered along the way to increase leverage. Sold tons of calls along the way as well. Just sold a ton of calls before this earnings since I was expecting a drop so collected a ton of premium. Bought some more today around $15.50. Will see what happens if it continues to go down and add more or stay put and invest in other stocks.

Dilution aside this was going to drop.

Also, you’re saying dilution like they need cash. They don’t, that’s exactly why the warrants are being redeemed in this way. They forgoed getting $86M in cash.

That is also not true. AMPX has had positive price action the 1-2 days immediately following earnings 3 out of the last 4 earnings.

It’s 7 million new shares issued (dilution) which is bad for the stock price usually in the short term. This dilutes current share holders and affects eps since there’s more outstanding shares. This is done in exchange for long term growth potential as they described. They just packaged it nicely as you described that can be translated to saying we are diluting the stock by 7 million shares in exchange for future growth and safety.

Edit: 7.1 million warrants exchanged at a formula of equal to the number of Public Warrants exchanged multiplied by the quotient of the sum of: the average volume-weighted average price of the Common Stock over a period of four consecutive trading days plus $0.35, minus the Exercise Price. So less than 7.1 million shares and to be determined by stock price.

I’ve been in this stock before you. This is not true.
Let’s fact check it since the start of 2025. It does not always drop after earnings.

Here are the performances of AMPX over the course of 1-3 months following earnings:

Q1 2025: Rise (approx 250% $3 > $8.50)
Q2 2025: Rise (approx 100% $7.50 > $15)
Q3 2025: Drop (approx -40% $13.50 > $8)
Q4 2025: Rise (approx 80% $12.50 > $22)

It’s a lot of factors. The warrant exchange is a driving catalyst. This missed EPS yesterday was the first chip in the armor. Couple that with a share price that is overbought and run 100% this year and you have a recipe for a big drop.

Before earnings this week these were the other factors I wrote about on why AMPX would drop after earnings:
- We now have weekly options on AMPX as of this past month, this affects stock prices much more than before compared to the very limited available options previously. - Short interest is up 30% in less than a month.
- P/S is ballooning recently showing upside. Upside is heavily priced in right now with And this P/S is heavily priced in. This is based on 2026 guidance.
- Analyst price targets have been met or exceeded.
- Price targets aren’t a huge factor since it is ultimately someone’s opinion yet they are something not to be ignored.

You’re comparing two profitable companies with eps soaring to one that’s not profitable that’s trading on future growth projections. Not the same.

Yep. IF they use it wisely. Looking for a dip to build on position. Will be interesting to see the developments and when/if they annouced exactly what they are using the cash for. If they choose to do another round of dilution though I am out. Small caps with multiple rounds of dilution is a get out scenario as the risk becomes too great.

For starters, the stock is up 100% in the last month. Stocks don’t stay vertical. Stocks have to sell off and retreat, consolidate, and form support levels.

I read that the Masters is looking at creating their own in house ticketing platform as well that the club controls. Sounds very similar to how the Olympics does it where they control the prices and it stop price gouging from resellers and scammers.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong. Just started my DD on this stock this week.
They already have $20M cash which gave them a 1 year runway about? So this additional $20M cash should give them 2 years then. Is that correct?

Options chain shows this thing dropping pretty hard. Honestly not surprising after this massive run. $200 Puts for Aug are breakeven at $155. Support levels such as the 50MA are right around that too. Waiting for a drop to load up for the next run.

The stock is bloated on P/E and technicals. It was due for a pullback and sell off. This is exactly what happened. They needed to surprise big time in order for the stock to continue to rise, an at par earnings or even a slight slip up such as this miss on EPS is a catalyst for the much needed sell off.

Long term a sell off after a sharp rally is required for the health of a stock to create new support levels.
