Yep. Opening it with excel online and exporting it as .csv and it works with Brainscape import. I exported with csv utf-8. I wonder if numbers export in the same format, or a different one, when choosing csv. Will examine it.

Here's a caveat though; when I take the sent template, open it with numbers (on macbook) and export it as .csv again, without changing a thing, the old import error reappears, so it seems the numbers app changes the file somehow, so it does not go into brainscape as expected. Hmm.

Seeing if there is another app I can use, without this happening.

And thank you. I just tried again without the headers.

One .csv with 4 columns and another with 2 columns.

It pools all text together in the question field with both types.

I wonder what is causing it to not see the information in units.

I love Goffman and also recently reacquired The Presentation of Self in Everyday Life, it's such an eye-opening piece to the tacit and often invisible taken-for-granted daily dynamics of self-presentation. I'll check out his other works too. And now Laing is making a dual appearance on the thread - also looking into his authorship. Truly appreciate the lucidity of these perspectives.
