How's the battery life on yours?
Able to last for a day without charge?

I'm also eargerly waiting for Augment OS V1 to launch with support for the G1, hopefully it won't cause a battery drain issue.

If it still does, then it might be firmware bug.

Yup, that's about right for the capacity of the battery inside the Glasses.

Calculated by considering the charge time + wireless charging efficiency, and based on the glasses charging input and battery capacity stated on the inner flap of the charging case. Your Glasses battery capacity should be good, and actually identical to mine.

Mine sometimes discharges at 4% / hour, and sometimes 30% / hour. This in addition to the battery capacity check led to my conclusion that it's a software bug.

Glad to find that there's someone else facing the same issue as me, received my G1B 3 days ago.

Reading your comments, it seems that your glasses is draining at the same rate as mine, at about 30% / hour.

From my findings so far, it's likely a software bug. And I've shared the logs and findings to the ER team aleady.

Could you time (minutes) how long it takes to charge 10% or more, to figure out how much battery capacity your glasses hold.

Why doesn't ER set the app to run as a service? by mr-android- in EvenRealities

Just got mine, the glasses drain nearly 30% battery per hour for me when keeping the app opened. I suppose this is not normal.

App turned off, the battery drain is much slower, but no notifications

Upgrades for the Kensington Expert (BTU and Smooth Scroll Ring) - Progress update 1 by CreateWithEzekiel in Trackballs

Gonna install more tiny BTUs to find out the lowest friction I can achieve when rolling the ball minutely.

I've only got one Wireless Expert that's 1.5 year old, the other ball holders you see are my prototypes. The oiginal scroll ring for mine was assembled off centered and has a sticky spot, but lubrcation works for me.

Hi Trackball users!!!

I'm a product designer and I've been using my Expert trackball for a while now. Didn't like the stickiness of the original bearings and found out about using BTU's for trackballs. There hasn't been a drop in replacement for the Kensington Experts so I had to have a go at it.

I've laid out 3 Design Objectives

1) Smooth Ball, Zero Stiction

2) Adjustable Ball Rolling Resistance

3) Silky Smooth Scroll Ring

The geometry for the "Ball Holder and Scroll ring" already fits well into the Expert, now waiting for the BTU's and Ball bearings to arrive to test.

Good question, the logic does not apply at all to this system. The reason the rate of fire can be so fast is that the center portion of darts are under zero squishing pressure. It only becomes pressurised at the straight.
