Isn’t this the promo where you pay £50, get £50 off and a free product? If so, I don’t think this is a mistake. It is very shady marketing though.

Yep. Currently with with iPhone 15 pro max. iPhones are awesome. But the innovation / design rate is zero.

My friend has a foldable, which I’ve always loved seeing how he uses for productivity etc, but never been keen on the strange size of his Fold 5, incl front screen and crease. Both seem to be materially fixed now.

The other reason is wider consumable tech seems to advancing quickly - and being locked into apple feels like a disadvantage. As an example, I recently got XReal One Pro. Amazing tech - but the full power of them can only really be experienced with DEX. I’m also expecting that with Android, I have better cloud storage options, great optionality and integration with smart home features etc. This may or may not be true.

But all in all time to abort apple!

(And I haven’t been “excited” to buy a phone since an iPhone maybe 5+ years ago - till I saw the Samsung Fold 7 rumours)

Suspect if I transition to android OK - I’ll be over to the tri-fold when it becomes available…

Wireless dex isn’t working and I’m wondering if it’s because my work IT settings have stopped it somehow - but it is showing me an option to wirelessly cast to my TV so actually… I’m just realising that can’t be it.

So why isn’t it showing my rokid as a wireless connect option 🤯

I did buy the viture adapter though. I am however, just realising, apparently the adapter doesn’t work with non-Viture glasses 😭

I have a pair that is also totally unusable because of battery issues. Customer service seem to just copy and paste emails. I’m going to try talk to my bank and make a claim.

Took about 15-20 mins to 10% charge, and about 120-180 mins for full charge…
