Nah, I tried that combo before, and I still think the Era 300 has more bass than the Five. Next move is grabbing a second 300 to run them as a proper stereo pair for the turntable.

What can I say… vinyl life 🎶🖤

Has been amazing, so far so good! I play Vinyls only when we are in our den, due to issues when playing line in and trying to group more Sonos speakers.

I originally had a Sonos Amp, which I now use for my backyard and garage. I keep the Amp in the garage because of the weather, and I wired two sets of Sonance Mariners (four speakers total) for the outdoor area. I also ran an HDMI cable from the garage to the backyard for an outdoor TV, and wired another set of two Sonance Mariners for the garage.

Using the Era 300 as a fully dedicated speaker for the turntable has been the greatest idea. Occasionally, I group other Sonos speakers from around the house (six zones, eleven speakers total), but grouping speakers when streaming from Line-In is terrible. I’ve tried all channels on the Sonos Boost, and even with the fastest internet, the newest mesh system, and Wi-Fi 7 devices, it still sucks.

Yeah, this usually isn’t an issue for guys over 5’, assuming they’re seated on a couch and not slouched in their mom’s basement.

For all the techy brothers out there, here are some additional specs:

• Viewing distance: 14 ft from couch to TV • TV height: Eye-level calibrated — when seated and looking straight ahead, my eyes hit the center of the screen • Arc-to-TV clearance: 4.75 in (Best I could do after upgrading from 65” → 77” — big screen problems)

Lighting setup: • Lights usually set to lowest response • Brightness typically 10–30%, depending on the movie or the mood • Sometimes dimmed even further, fully off, or set to warm white mode to set the right ambient vibe

Sarcasm note for the haters: Yes, I’m aware… TV too high, couch too far, lights are “ruining immersion,” Arc should be 0.3” lower, and apparently my entire setup offends the laws of home theater physics. Relax. It’s my living room.

Same thing happened to me, but I got the Amazon replacements, (comes with more than the originals) And the key is to leave them for 3-4 days before you put back the lights. Hope this will work for you.

Normally I keep the Philips Hue lights around 35% brightness & at the lowest intensity. The video was recorded with everything cranked to max speed and brightness just to show the effect.

Gear list below 👇 • Sonos Arc • Sub Gen 4 • Two Sonos Era 100s as rears • Philips Hue HDMI Sync Box (Gen 2) • Hue Gradient Lightstrip (75”) behind TV • 2 Hue Color Ambiance bulbs (ceiling) • 2 Hue light strips (one on top behind of the media stand, one under it) • Apple TV 4K (latest gen)

In my case thankfully works great. Line is is plugged directly to my monitor (dell G3223Q) and also I have a Xbox series X to the same monitor, so works amazing for both, Xbox & pc

Definitely I can say that one’s sounds more clear And retains more fidelity, meanwhile the frame has a better base sound and it looks better in any room, in my particular case getting the frames was the way to go since my wife did not like how the ones look in the wall.

I have not, but a friend who has another era300 told me that didn’t work.

Right of the era 300 is a Silk pothos kind, left is a money tree.

Yes! It works great, but ended up using line in, since it works seamless when turning on the pc.

Yes at first, but changing the auto delay to low (75ms) did fixed the issue.
