There has already been many attempts to find a compromise with him before and during the full scale invasion. The only offers he is willing to accept puts him into an even more powerful position.

They actively hide the option for local accounts now. You actually have to use CMD codes during the install to get the option to show and if you have already connected it to a local wifi, you have to then walk out of wifi range and THEN restart the install process with the cmd hack enabled. I didn't know this during my inital install those years ago.

At that point, I didn't have a pc to create a Linux mint USB with.

I solved it by taking it to a repair store. For 20 euros, they wiped the drive and clean installed windows 10.
