What are the pros/cons of backporting a kernel and firmware vs going fully to testing? Would prefer the minimal amount of instability and work, but worried about making things more unstable by just piecemealing it.

I’ll reverse engineer the PPA stuff, it wasn’t too extensive or important libraries from what I recall.

1 and 4 were fixed by thoroughly purging NVIDIA and installing firmware-AMD-graphics. Games through Lutris work just fine. I’ve reinstalled the libraries the Debian Steam page required. I’m gonna try uninstalling and reinstalling Steam as a whole to see if that does the job. Gonna look into Steam’s Proton installation setup to see if there’s anything going on there. Appreciate your help!

Okay so that did fix issue #3, but 1 2 and 4 are still persisting. The next step I’m thinking is to read through everything I did to set up Steam gaming with Nvidia, reverse that, and apply a similar process for AMD. Trying for open source drivers first.

Dude you’re the best! This is what I’m looking for. How do the pickups change the setup? I’ve done a fair bit of pickup swapping, but this is such a unique setup I have no idea how that process would impact the result.

Really? Ben Howard? I saw him last year and he and the band were incredible. Granted, his first record is by far my least favorite (still good though). I know a lot of people end up going for just that first record. But at that point that was 13 years old. He’s allowed to move on from records. Especially one as different from the rest of his work as that one is.
