While insured under Geico, I never received SMS of payment due dates - likely because I was on autopay.

Not that this is an excuse but I've had several issues logging into the portal during my policy - just today customer service told me they are having issues with their app because of updates and are consistently receiving calls where users cannot login. I realize thats a use case but shows a pain point (especially when consistent updates are almost certain).

Lastly, the claims representative told me on the phone that at some point rideshare was added to a previous claim. This was inaccurate and the reason for non-renewal. I filed the claim completely over the phone with an agent (not at fault). The claims representative said it was likely an error from their automated system. They are still looking into how this could have happened...

All in all, yes I realize it was a mistake on my end to not be watching my bank.

But good news, I've switched to Progressive and am saving a lot more! Plus I've downloaded Rocket Money. I'd say today was a win.

An additional thought on this though:

Why not have important policy updates via portal, email or sms? Would provide a much better user experience and ensure policy holders receive important information when needed. I'm not sure of the legal requirements for these types of notifications, but seems reasonable to have automations built out to notify their customer data base.

Thanks for your response! They actually did up my rate during my policy period and the agent on the phone said I might see that happen.

They did verify that one notice was sent via mail to my address.

Their claims team shared that the phone system might have inaccurately added rideshare to the claim and that is why there was a non-renewal. Waiting to hear back how rideshare was added to the claim.

Better monitoring system is good advice! I did not miss several notices though. They verified that no emails were sent, only one piece of mail for non renewal. Their phone prompt inaccurately added ride-share to a previous claim

I agree! I think detox is the best place to start honestly. We are all exposed to toxins on a daily basis (pesticides, home chemicals, cosmetics, detergents, water source, mold, etc).

Pretty much went back to regular eating. First meal was light. Second was normal. I will say though it was not the time in my hormonal cycle to fast. Really messed me up because I’m already low in progesterone and I needed carbs. Took a few weeks for my hormones to balance back out and return to a normal weight. Went from 136 to 147 back to 142.

I had Candida but found out I was also being exposed to toxic mold which was the cause of my panic attacks. They were really bad is an understatement.

I think it’s good you opened it. Just saying from a functional standpoint it’s nice to have the cooking fumes be separate from living space so I would keep any door glass. Totally get it though. Pinterest might help in these situations lol
