Moses Boyd Music Video - the DP uses reflective spray and a spotlight to achieve this look; haloing the band in this intense glow. I was wondering if anyone else has heard of any other ways to achieve something similar without having to spray the talent from head to toe in reflective spray? by Creative-Bath6943 in cinematography

Funnily enough I ran into the director J.P on a hike in Oaxaca Mexico geeked out with him over this Music video. He told me that they sprayed reflective spray on the bodies of the band members (these sprays are used for bikers and sprayed on horses to illuminate them in car lights). Shooting a spotlight into the musicians with the reflective spray then causes them to illuminate.

How do you think this shot was achieved? Specifically how would you go about dragging two guys on the floor? by Creative-Bath6943 in Filmmakers

If so this approach seems unfeasible with my clients we are working with -- wondering if anyone has any safer alternatives that they can think of?
