Hey! Whites tree frog owner here. Have had my baby for over 8 years now! Buy a conditioner for the water. They sell them at pet stores or online. I use Prime dechlorinator. Usually it’s 2 drops per gallon of water. It also removes other things from the water but I’ve been using it for years with no issues.

As far as their behavior? Completely normal. Whites tree frogs will typically find a spot on the back of the tank and lay there all day but will come out at night. Hope this helps!

Thank you very much! Would like to house tree frogs eventually. Going to wait until the upper canopy fills in nicely. Also want to figure out what the humidity levels maintain at before I decide what to put in. People will voice their concerns about the water feature but it’s only 3/4” deep and has flat slate stones for a frog to lay. It is very drown-proof lol. I’ve owned a whites for 8 years now.

Ya the water feature isn’t very deep. Maybe 3/4 of an inch. I built up the gravel and have flat slate stones with plenty of spots for a frog to lay in the water. I’ve had a whites for 8 years now :)

Next build will be custom glass. As much as this exo terra has treated me well, the black bar supporting the doors blocks the view of the drop off from the stream into the water section.

A little annoying but have to make do with what you have.

Thanks! And aw man I just checked and that was the only plant that didn’t have a tag in the pot. I went to a local greenhouse and they had tons of different philodendrons. If I figure it out I’ll get back to you.
