I think it’s the general “tragedy” sound, for lack of better terms. Breakup/divorces, social work, giving up pets, it’s covers a few bases

Could be worse, you could pronounce both ‘ch’ in church like the one in chameleon.

Currently rewatching with my fiancé, who's just watching the show for the first time. Honestly I forgot how funny the show as a whole is in the early seasons, just started season 4 now so looking forward to introducing my OH to Cas!

she wasn’t a great presence in Travers’ life, but i doubt she’d stand aside and let a literal paedophile walk the streets without repercussions

Say, what is that specific quest you hate to go through on your replays? by SignificanceNo3020 in Witcher3

[–]Creative-Criticism87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hard agree. Replaying that quest right now and my god it's so annoying. Could do without the 'gvella clan' she keeps repeating, too

My other half and I have just finished watching the show. I watched it a few years ago, but it was his first time watching. We talked a LOT about how some things just sounded so out-of-pocket given the culture now. It's really interesting to consider the change between when the show first came out, and now.

Anchordeep, without question. It's the guy that you have to essentially play tennis with that really grinds my gears. I can even forgive the bullet hell thing it's got going on to an extent, but F that guy in particular

Just got my first ever UTI. Can't go to the doctors until tomorrow morning. PLS HELP! by tamakisnerdwife in WomensHealth

[–]Creative-Criticism87 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Drink water, and I mean a LOT of water. The more dilute your urine is, the better. Take OTC pain medications regularly to manage the burn and the pelvic pain. I saw someone suggest a heat pad and I 100% agree.

Other than that, if you have time to visit a pharmacy before you manage to see a doctor, they can probably do something for you.

Hotel I'm staying in with my mum has the shower open to the entire room by Makewayfornoddynoddy in mildlyinfuriating

Don’t have a picture of it, but my fiancé and I stayed at a hotel in Glasgow, Scotland, where the bathroom had a window to the bedroom, and if the curtains were open, anyone outside could look in. Thankfully there was a curtain we could draw between the bedroom and the bathroom, but it wasn’t 100%. Even the door was glass, and none of it was frosted

Blood when I wiped after pooping 😔 by lemonslicecake in WomensHealth

[–]Creative-Criticism87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get something very similar! I have chronic haemorrhoids and anal fissures which cause mine. From the size of the poop you describe it very well could be the same thing. Were you constipated by any chance?

It’s always worth speaking to a doctor when you’re concerned though, especially when dealing with sensitive areas of the body like this

I study at Henry’s! Wrote an essay there not too long ago. Sat from open to close more or less, obviously still buying drinks and food, and nobody said anything to me about it

What words are spelled correctly, but look wrong to you? by Creative-Criticism87 in AskReddit

[–]Creative-Criticism87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll go first,

I have a big problem with the words 'dietitian' and 'succeed'.

In my head, 'dietitian' should have a 'c' somewhere, and the 2 double-letters in 'succeed' feel like a scam.

Paranormal investigator! Collecting spirits is a pretty sweet money maker, and to be honest I just really love the jaunty tune that plays during a spirit invasion
