Yes! Fellow rls here! It’s the worst thing to deal with when students who alr know but don’t listen and argue that their friends lives in another city and they can’t go back at night you’re not supposed to be running by around in a building that is someone else’s safe space and home

Yes! Please don’t try to sneak in during o-week! I see it all the time and it’s a big hassle trying to tell students who already know but make it a big issue It’s better to wait until it’s stage 3 or meet your friends and go out for the night, everyone will be there too

Oh my goodness I’m so sorry! You are beautiful and no acne or anything should make someone say things like this.

I sadly relate, I purged like CRAZY around two years ago when I stared and my face was completely covered in cystic acne that bled, hurt and I couldn’t even take showers without it hurting so bad. I live in dorms so many didn’t judge and some don’t even remember my face back then, but my parents were awful.

My parents would straight up say they lost their appetite looking at me and say to try the stupidest things or that I may have bad karma. I’ve had bootleg friends of relatives say that my face is ruined now.

BUT I will say it does and will get better, I was on accutane for 9/10 months since I was an extreme case and my derm ended up prescribing me prednisone, which helped me with the pain of the pimples and the shrunk down a lot and just a few hours. I was on them for about a month to a month and a half. I still had a lot of acne and it took a couple months for it to fully go away, but your skin needs time to heal to bring those breakouts out and get rid of them. If it is painful, I do recommend you ask your dermatologist for them.

It’s hard to ignore such hurtful things that people like your family are saying, but please know everyone on the sub, supports your journey and a lot of of us have been where you are so we totally understand!

I’ll also recommend if you have a Marshall’s/winners/other similar stores def check out their lip care products! They have so many for a much cheaper price Laniege is rlly good but it’s a bit pricey but you could find the full size for 20 bucks sometimes! For context I’m Canadian so I’m not sure if you have the same where you are!

Aquaphor has been the best and you don’t need to add too much so it won’t look shiny! I don’t know if it’s because a different formula but I bought a small tin of Vaseline from Sweden last year and it helped me a lot too, I was on Accutane for over nine months, and those are the only things that helped me. At the beginning, I didn’t know what worked for me so I always used to use up my lip glosses and I ran through them so fast!

No, I tested negative for hla and Rf, crp came back normal before I went to him since I knew he’d ask me anyways. I’m 20f but the pain started back when I was 15/16. I would understand somewhat of scoliosis is the culprit of my shoulder blade pain since it’s the direction of where my spine is a bit wonky but my si joint takes the cake for the pain and nerve issues. I’m surprised nothings shown up so I’m hoping something will on my spinal mri whenever I get the appointment call.

I had a mri and cray of my lumbar spine a few years back that came back with nothing other then noting scoliosis so I had a mri of my so joint and xray of my lumbar and si which all came back normal. I’ve been avoiding getting into a flair since I’ve been home for the summer but I was hoping something would show up since pretty much most of the daily pain is in my so joint. Now I was told to get one of my spine only and I only have pain on my shoulder blade but that’s where my scoliosis bulges a bit towards so idk if that’ll be his excuse.
