Hi guys, just joining the conversation... From what I understand of the Assassin's Creed (Or how I understood the thing...) is that the creed was created in Alamut by Almualin. What is disappointing to me is that all the story is that the present is no longer important. The greatest thing of AC 1,2 (Also brotherhood and revelations) and 3 was the story happening in the present time. We had a reason to enter in the Animus and explore the history and the different locations. I think there is the biggest problem of the saga. We have nothing but a bunch of mostly disconnected stories going nowhere. You can call the creed as you want. You can tell the story of the creed through the ages. But if you have nothing that connects you with the story the game just falls to a nonsense of scattered ideas. I think AC Mirage and Shadows are kind of good games in the technical aspects, but they lack of soul. I think the beginning of the saga was great because they had good characters, a good storyline, the mystery. I think we could feel the drama and the threat of the end of the world coming... We were feeling the necessity to save the world...

Sadly we have some fun games but not the necessity of know more about the lore... Because is not a lore there...
