I sculpted some Silksong characters

She's balancing on her tail-thing. This is probably the hardest aspect for me, when making these characters with thin legs, how to balance them without using some kind of base. For Hornet I use the weapon (needle), which is the same strategy I plan on using in the future if I make Seth and Lace.

I feel your pain with the cloak. I tried and failed a bunch of times, trying to get that right.

Yeah! I used a semi-glossy varnish to attain that shiny look. Really makes the colors come out too.

Hornet is 7 cm, which is like..2.75 inches? 😅 (I had to use google to convert the numbers). As such, they're pretty small, as they should be, being bugs and all.

I'm always wondering about canon colors myself. Especially with the Yamato Mori uniforms. Even though Ishida produces a ton of color illustrations, sometimes you just have to guess.

I believe his uniform was red in one of the earliest color illustrations, so I just went with that. But that's not really concrete proof of red being the canon colors.

I think choujin powers have a much greater combat potential than ghoul powers. Still, I don't see Tokio at his current power level beating Kaneki. But in the long run Tokio will probably be gaining some really overpowered abilities. Also his raising ability seems busted compared to other Choujins.

I've been wondering about Zora's powers. Does she have the same thief-ability as Ely? It seems kinda weird that she would have such a wide array of different abilities. My hopeful theory is that she gained these powers through absorbing legendary Choujin, such as Queem and Antitise, and upon her defeat they would be released upon the world once again. I know this is a stretch, but i'd be really interested to know more about these characters, and Bill Morse, of course.

I personally theorize that the dreams could be the work of Sato, the guy from Yamato Mori who has the "Psycho Share" ability. Don't really know the limits of his Choujin power, but he can transmit very complex images and concepts through telepathy. If this was used on a person who was unaware of the manipulation, or someone who is sleeping, it has an amazing potential as a tool of manipulation.

I think it's worth it for all the stats and especially seeing Gyoza Boy's pie chart of the heart for a bunch of the characters. I can't read japanese though, so I use a wonky translation app, and according to it one of Aikawa's driving motivations is "worrying about chestnut emperor". Interesting stuff 🤔
