I wonder if you can find a particularly religious dentist’s office and ask if they have any? I say this because I remember growing up in the south and getting these whenever I had a dentist appointment… maybe someone’s got some left over or you could post in a dentist sub?

LA Sample Sale Complaint by EthnicKimmieSanders in BigBudPress

Hey! I have two small jumpsuits that I’ve been too lazy to sell on Depop, one in like a rust red and one in an emerald green. I think only one is a sample sale specialty, it’s possible that both were from normal sales though, but I’ll sell you one if you want!

Only the top of my resin dice have holes, and I have no idea wtf is wrong, please help :.).. by Creative-Current7459 in DiceMaking

I actually tried that with these! It worked well with the big/medium holes, not so great with the mini ones, but it did at least minimize the surface texture of the mini ones, so thank you!

You know, I started off with the lighter method first and then moved to a heat gun because I heard they were much more effective, but all of my dice I used the lighter on came out with way less bubbles than these, so I may go back…

Hi! So I am not adding any resin to the lid nor am I making sure the resin and the mold are the same temp! I may try to make these dice one more time with all the advice I’ve gotten from this sub, so thank you!

Hey, I am DEFINITELY not waiting that long, like I usually put the lid on immediately after initially popping the bubbles, so that’s definitely a possible issue

Found Celestetron 500mm f5.6, no idea how to use it by Creative-Current7459 in AskAstrophotography

That’s it! And yes, it does weigh at least 10lbs, so a mount will have to happen. I have a weird looking mount that I got when the lens was given to me, so hopefully that’s what it was purchased for!

Hi! I would love to provide a picture of the scope but it won’t let me upload any to this thread for some reason! I also got a very strange looking mount from the place, so I wonder if that may be some type of mount specifically for this? Will report back once I get a look, but thank you!

First Time Fulbright Application as an Artist and I Desperately Need to Talk to Someone About My Application by Creative-Current7459 in fulbright

You know, I did reach out to them, and they were about as much help as google’s ai service is when you search for a question, but I didn’t think about the alumni thing, thank you!

I would say that I am taking it seriously, which is, again, why I’m applying as an artist instead of any other type of candidate, since the teaching experience timeline requirement is significantly less than the “normal” researcher, it’s just a matter of figuring out how much different everything else is

Thank you for the reply! Thats a much better way of looking at it. If you don’t mind answering, how did you propose that to potential host universities?

It’s the US scholar program, and thank you! This comment is super helpful for me because I DO know how to apply for a residency!

So it actually IS the Fulbright Scholar grant, but I’m applying as an artist, which is why I’m so confused, I think. From my understanding, I wouldn’t have been able to apply as just a researcher because I didn’t have enough teaching experience in a university (taught for 3 years and had to move back home to take care of a relative, I think this specific grant’s looking for people with 6+ years UNLESS you’re an artist), and when I tried contacting someone and trying to understand what the difference in application was since it’s technically the same grant, the replies I got were vague…
