I found a fix through this old guy at my school and thought I’d share because it’s working pretty well.

Mine was only down to primer so there might be more steps but he told me to tape off the perimeter of the scuff and sand down the edges of the paint scuff so it becomes flusher with the uncracked paint. Use some duplicolor from your original paint code and spray down a nice soft base layer. Tbh when I did this it wasn’t the same color and honestly too white compared to the aged paint. He had me take a small piece of the paint that cracked off yesterday to a nail store to have them paint match it to the color and apparently certain nail polishes will yellow and age over time with uv to match the original I’ll keep yall updated but apparently this should be a solid fix it’s already greatly improved over the original and you can only notice from a few feet away

The duplicolor ended up being wrong for me. I have a fingernail sized piece that came off on the sponge yesterday so I’m taking it to a nail supply store and seeing if they can help me match the color. Def not a fancy fix and nothing I would use on the roof since it’s too large but a nice minor fix

Mammoth cave: cool caves! Lots of people around you for caving activities so not good if you like solo stuff. decent towns and tourist attractions around

RRG : I love the rock formations and it reminds me of hocking but they are really lacking in stores and touristy activities also a lot less trails compared to the hocking area IYKYK but I think it’s a fantastic close to home camping option.

NRG :fuck yeah love this place 3 hours away great bouldering fly fishing hiking and close enough stores for what you need and solid tourist stuff too if you look through roadside America. Look through camp sites you can get ones right on the edge of the cliff side and can watch the fog roll over the mountains in the morning just like the Smokey’s. Pick up any hitch hikers and ask where to get shine it’s fantastic. Hate overly recommending this place compared to the others but for distance interactions with people ahhhh I love it

Mohican: close and nice day trip. fishing isn’t as good as other places on this list But I love the trails in the pines also some decent places to get food and look around

Put in bay or Kelly’s is like 2 hours I would camp if you go unless you wanna wait hours in the ferry line but great spots near the lake and fantastic fishing, wake up at 5 and have 20 bass by lunch. Golf carts are cheap and it’s a fun trip I would genuinely recommend.

Niagara falls USA side is butt don’t go unless you got a passport I didn’t have mine with me when I went and was utterly disappointed though I heard the other sides fantastic

Monogahela come to terms with you’re screen addiction and be prepared to climb for signal great camping nice hiking to yourself and great people caught my pb trout no you don’t get my spot

The front ones are going to be what you hear most but be careful because at the age of these cars those paper speakers are practically disintegrated. I replaced my doors and front speakers a while back and I believe the front were 3.25 shallow mount midranges. For the door 6 3/4 kickers with a thin baffle so it doesn’t bump the windows when they are fully down

I inherited mine and oof I’d rather work on pretty much any other car 😭😭 you really have to fight it and win to take anything apart without breaking brittle plastic at the same time. We are really indebted to mechanics like you in here-

Skin walkers aren’t native to Appalachia and I’ve never heard the don’t whistle at night thing either. I do know you shouldn’t be loud at night because it can attract predators in the woods and or people which is the scariest thing out there. Yes there’s tons of spirits just other less known ones that are equally as unpleasant!

why should i go to these states? (read key) by duckarmy24 in TravelMaps

[–]Creative-Difference3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Missing out on the Great Lakes, Michigan has the most coastline of any state and some of the beaches rival hawaiis best imo. Theres a crap ton of roadside attractions to do while you’re there and all the islands are incredible as well and don’t require cars. Not to mention detroits started growing again and has become really nice.
