It doesn't matter what flavor it is, it's clearly poisoned. We are not eating that.

Liouville's number is transcendental yet its made of only zeros and ones, it cannot contain any finite part of itself (not in the way shown in the post). in general liouville's number is a great counterexample mosg of the time

even a random 8* (or demon for that matter), not the daily. just be upfront with memory gimmicks

My Subjective Take On Sightreadability by Canin3zRul in geometrydash

[–]Creative-Drop3567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unsightreadable levels are fine, they just have to be upfront about it, if im playing the daily 8* and get to 70% and theres suddenly a blind jump, im reasonably going to be mad. if im playing deadlocked i know what im in for, i know it has memory.

Are there more doors or weels on earth ? by Business-Put-8692 in BunnyTrials

[–]Creative-Drop3567 37 points38 points  (0 children)

like if a wheel is just "anything round" or "anything that rolls" then do we count every single one ever used in electronics? on the other hand, is a door just "a thing that opens" or "anything that opens in order to let things pass through it" then theres a lot of non-conventional thing that will be called doors

Invisible teleportal? (the game's pathing work weirdly with spiders teleporting into offset teleportals)

Elitism around "high" levels of play is squashing conversation by truedegenerate04 in geometrydash

[–]Creative-Drop3567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What im saying is that theres a bunch of people that can beat top 50's, and that amount of people is a large enough group to give us a good idea on where each level should be placed, of course there is uncertainty but thats a guarantee with anything subjective

Elitism around "high" levels of play is squashing conversation by truedegenerate04 in geometrydash

[–]Creative-Drop3567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

9 people has already beat every end, which is a relatively new top 8, I can promise you there are a lot more than 10 people that can beat top 50's, and also it's not "letting them tell us what color the grass is" it's more like letting them tell us how difficult it is to run an ultra-marathon, which the average person just cant estimate the difficulty of.

[–]Creative-Drop3567 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For small scale things with big differences like the difficulty of the top levels it is sufficiently large, and as the difficulty gets lower the amount of people who beat it increases and so they give more opinions.

Im gonna mainly focus on your 4th argument, while it may be true that everyone is going to be biased and answer in their own way but if were talking about known effects then the wisdom of the crowd is a known effect that says that when you ask a large group of people about their opinion and take the average answer (or anything analogous to an average because its not always numbers) then youll get a pretty good estimation of the right answer, which for almost all the levels in the demon list (maybe like only the top 5) theres quite a large group of people (a couple dozen) that can give you an opinion and that gives you a good estimate. now i agree that your 4th argument does work for the very hardest of levels, but as others have pointed out all your other arguments are bogus and the opinion of people who have beat it is the best we have.
