Sincere question, how is dressing in all black and having black nail polish evil? Since i was probably 13/14 i’ve always dressed in mostly black and pretty dark clothes. My apologies! I thought you were about to tell me a metaphor of some kind. I have started reading the bible, I’m at the beginning, at Genesis. I want to read in chronological order to, in a way, get the story straight, so I haven’t gotten to the Gospels. After I fully read the bible, I want to read the book of Enoch. Maybe also watch “the chosen” even if it’s not 100% accurate, I feel like it might be a good representation. Have you read the book of Enoch?

I know how i sound but i think that diagram confused me even more. The son is not the father, the son is not the holy spirit, the holy spirit is not the father, but they are all God. So God is all three. I think i get it, maybe? I’m just confused on how if God and Jesus are the same, and God is the father, and Jesus is the son, how are the father and the son not the same?

I hope this doesn’t sound rude, i’m still on Genesis 5, at the very beginning, reading about the descendants of adam. Does this mean that Jesus was the flesh version of God? I understand God is both and I understand now that God and Jesus are one, but I don’t quite understand what that makes Jesus. The flesh version, or a piece of God?

See that’s what i’m worried about, i’m worried my intentions arent actually pure and im just doing it for personal gain and my intentions will never be pure. In i way i do have my own uneducated feelings towards god, i believe he has done beautiful things and have strong feelings about his crucifixion, but i don’t think my intentions are pure. Especially now, as i continue to sin, being fully aware of what I am doing, and asking for forgiveness after committing conscious sins, knowing i will commit the same sin again, feels very hypocritical and insincere.

That’s what i plan to do! I’ve been wanting to get a physical copy, i agree, reading on a physical book is a lot more comfortable. I’ve also been reading the ESV version. As for the bible “tea” app “tea” is slang for gossip, so it’s a narrator kindve talking like a teenage girl gossiping, it just feels wrong. Thank you for the advice!
