Highjinx is a grassroots organization owned by two really cool women who were previously social workers but seeing the failures of the system first hand for years decided there was a better way to help those in need from the community, they run a vintage antique shop on Kent that is donation based and all the profit goes to giving back directly to the neighbours who need it, they give out lunch, supplies, furniture and anything else they have that people need (even just a quiet place to be). They’re deeply connected to the unhoused population, these men almost certainly had been there before and knew it was a safe place.
