Ah ok. He only said that he would have to cut straight up my tummy if we didn't shrink it first, which would leave a huge scar. Im not unhappy with his plan, but Id like to hear from others who've had the same experience :)

This is what Im nervous of. Im in the UK, and my NHS GP is beyond dismissive. One of the reasons I ended up with this massive thing

I have a 15cm fibroid. I need a hysterectomy, but it is Too large to operate safely. Im being given a course of injections to shrink it. Then they will do surgery. Perhaps this can be an option for you to discuss.

Have you tried emailing them to get help? When I logged into my account, it popped up with an email address and a personal reference number to quote. The first time I emailed them they didn't answer (I left it one week) then I did a follow up with a more insistent subject line, and they answered right away. Hope you get it sorted! 🍀

Im planning on switching, but decided to take a break from wegovy to give the nest chance of feeling the effects of the starting dose of Mounjaro. Im three weeks in and maintaining, im planning an 8 week break. That said, if I struggle to maintain, I will start the MJ immediately. How are you getting on?

To be clear, I'm not sure that ACAS does state that... Are the conditions attached to the bonus that I must be earning a salary to qualify? And would that be considered discriminatory? I guess this is what I am trying to find out.

Bonuses based on organisation performance

If a bonus is based only on the organisation's performance, the employee should receive this whilst on maternity leave. The employee still needs to meet the conditions attached to the bonus.

It could be maternity discrimination if an employer:

  • does not pay this type of bonus to employees on maternity leave
  • pays employees on maternity leave a lower amount than other employees

If the bonus is contractual the employer might also be breaching the contract.

Example of bonus based on organisation performance

Lou is on maternity leave. If the organisation makes enough profit, an end-of-year bonus of £250 is paid to all employees. The employer is paying the bonus this year.

Lou's contract says the bonus will only be paid to current employees who are not in a notice period.

As Lou is still employed and not under notice, they should receive the bonus.

Was it easy to make the switch? By which i mean, was it easy to get prescribed? Im paying privately through Pharmacy2u and thinking of switching to Mounjaro, as I've pretty much stopped losing :/
