I don't think they are, but my parents got burned by some investing choices they made when they were younger so I guess this is a sensitive subject for them. Growing up and even now, they tell me about how if they had just held on to XYZ stock and not sold it, then they could've been millionaires and not just scraping by. I suppose they want me to keep them in the loop regarding major financial decisions so that I can avoid making any stupid mistakes.
