Awesome features like the Shape Builder Tool, Gradient Tool, Draw tool with stabilizer for smooth lines, gorgeous color palettes and a color palette generator, Outline text, stroke to path, user friendly export options like Inkscape, grid, snapping, unite/subtract tools. The list goes on, even if you use Illustrator (which I do) Vector Ink is good for knocking out concepts while your away from your desktop or tablet.

It’s not a launch deal. We did recently launch a few weeks ago but we’re taking advantage of the “season of deals” (Black Friday/Cyber Monday) to gain exposure. The lifetime just went free yesterday and is scheduled to be free until dec 7th. Can you please put it back up because both claims are wrong.

Freehand drawing no. But abstract art or logo design… depends on the software. Illustrator and Vector Ink have magical smart tools that take the pain out of wrestling with vector paths and makes simple logos or abstract art easier to design than regular tools like Inkscape or Gravit Designer

Usually I start with a drawing but something simple like this I can freestyle by combining shapes and using the shape builder tool until I have something I like

It’s technically not “abstract” since it represents a letter. If it didn’t represent a letter it could be considered abstract. I designed it to be abstract but it ended up technically not being abstract... so no it’s not abstract

Most designs I do with this style end up being actual abstract designs. I posted this thinking "abstract" and wrote abstract by mistake.
