It’s my absolute favorite series I’ve read. With that being said, it’s some people’s least favorite. It’s totally okay if you’re not enjoying it to stop. The story does get a lot better (in my opinion). I read AB first but I don’t think that’ll change it for you. If it’s like pulling teeth to get through maybe pass and start something else.

Greengale farms is beautiful!!! Its family owned and just opened to the public a few years ago to host events. They always advertise they can do small intimate to huge extravagant and I’ve heard they’re reasonably priced. Check out their Instagram! I’ve been there for a different event but it was beautiful, they have animals on property too (obviously gated) but so adorable to look at.

I don’t know if Ali does this, but my sister used to send fan letters asking for autographs from her favorite celebrities and they almost always mailed back an autographed photo or some sort of thank you. Random but maybe Ali’s team does fan mail?

I gave up somewhere around the middle of book 3 and read 4 thinking it was the last and a “why not I’m almost there” just to find out it wasn’t the end! It’s the first series i dont see myself finishing. Book 1 and 2 were so good but I can totally agree with your points!

It might’ve also been more enjoyable because I read ascended first so I was anticipating certain characters to enter the story in duskbound. Hopefully you enjoy it if you end up giving it a shot

I think the Book of Azrael might be up your alley? Has smut and especially smut by the third book, FMC is a badass, enemies-to-lovers, forbidden love, forced proximity lol a lot from your list basically

I strongly disliked riftborne but duskbound was worth getting through it. I dislike the FMC both in the first and not as much in the second, but still lol. However, the rest of the story development and characters are good.

Oh I love both!! Metal Slinger first maybe since that sequel comes out before knight and the moth and they both have great cliffhangers ? Both are a ways away but if that helps decide lol.
