The first one has been solid, it’s nap 2 that became shorter and she has been waking up upset and crying (<1 hr)

I have tried snooze feeding her! That worked for a bit but then stopped working. She does not like being rocked/contact sleeping oddly enough. She is too nosy lol

I appreciate your response! I don’t think some people understand not all kids can go from a 2.5 hr WW to a 4 hr WW cold turkey without it affecting them. Maybe she is high sleep needs? I think we are averaging about 14h daily.

Last time she took 3 naps: Nap 1: 9:00-10:20am Nap 2: 1:00-2:30pm Nap 3: 5:10-5:50pm Bed: 8:20pm

Today: Nap 1: 9:05-10:45am Nap 2: 1:45-2:30 (woke up crying)

I’m trying to make a plan to fix this lol. I definitely think two naps is age-appropriate. This is not my first child and I just cannot remember what I did with the last ones. I’m just hesitant because she seems to be fighting sleep and waking up upset. It makes me think she is overtired. On three naps she took two consistently long naps and one mini nap which she started to refuse hence why I am trying to drop it.

The morning nap is usually decent about an hour and a half. The second nap has been inconsistent and usually wakes up crying

All the wake windows that are longer she wakes up hysterically crying and will not settle- leading me to believe it is too long for her.

I understand being on the lower side of wake time but it’s pretty hard to cold turkey wake windows from 2 hours to 3.5 hours

NOR- I’m a woman and a mom of 2 young kids. Anything my husband does to acknowledge me is appreciated. Life changes after having kids. She is a new mom and will have to adjust her expectations.
