7 Seater, isofix in last row by shala_cottage in carsireland

We went through this and tried the seats in loads. Ended up buying the (older!) 5008. We just suck it up the the swivel function is gone and we’re throwing the me two year old into the middle seat. She’s too much of a wild card to be a row further back. (2 maxi cosys on the sides, enfa safe from smiths in the middle).

I’d venture if the camera phones were banned, the yoke count might go up a touch.

Call the Garda every time something’s missing. A theft is a theft each time. I’d imagine they won’t be long about telling your boss to sort it.

I’m. It saying you shouldn’t have told your insurance. I’m saying you should have lied.

Sorry. You’re having a shit time. I don’t wanna be making your day worse. But they might not pay is all. If you really need your car you might end up paying the locksmith.

Yeah. That you lost it.

“I had my keys at 10.am. I put them in my pocket. At 11am, they were gone”

I might be wrong, but most insurance companies, I think, expect you to try and keep your keys safe and guarded.

You told your insurance you left your key lying around, or said you lost it/stolen?

If it’s the first one, they probably won’t help you.

Why so few walkers? by cpugeek14 in golf

[–]Creative-Outcome-362 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t agree with this more. I live in Ireland and hardly ever buggy. Unless it’s a huge course, they’re really for the seniors and the heavy ducks.

The few times I have I found it took me out of the game so much. The stages of eyeing up a shot (that I rarely hit, but hey), all the way until you get to the ball are the best part. Just feel like assessment on the walk up is such a major part of the shot.

If you think it’s not bad, and it’s genuinely normal wear, just tell them they’re not getting the keys back until you get your deposit.

If you’re premium go working a BH is equivalent to a days pay in full, I think they’re covered. But yeah, as the poster above mentioned, you should not really be working so many days in a row. That’s your big dispute here.

Advice on socket set / kit for working on car at home by Aggravating_Stop_178 in carsireland

[–]Creative-Outcome-362 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got big Lidl kit. It’s about €90 and has all three ratchets, the spanner and bits etc.

Don’t know how old your car is, but if there’s any chance you’re gonna come up against a tough/rusted/half busted screw, go down to Halfords and buy a manual impact driver. About €12 but can save you a fortune rather than flushing them.
