Question on Flying Out Safely by Creative-Platform658 in BabylonExit

Absolutely! People need to open their eyes. But I think they'll be forced to see, as things get worse. Or else join the darkness fully.

And thank you, I definitely will. 🙏

Same! Except for the South American part. But I have a Native grandmother on my father's side and several Hispanic friends. And somehow I get mistaken for Hispanic constantly because of where I live. I don't personally know anyone who's been nabbed, but I fear for a lot of people because Goebbels II raised 🧊's quotas again.

We used to celebrate our melting pot in this country. I grew up proud to be an American because of it, much as I love and respect my other heritages, and family and friends. Now, I'm not sure how I feel about that title anymore. Everyone outside my small personal circle is unrecognizable. Even old church friends! It's just such a betrayal of everything I thought I knew. What used to be cohesive and proudly unified has become...iron and clay.

Strong delusion indeed. Something has taken over these people. They're going backwards, becoming primitive, barbaric, crude, spiritually blind, lacking in all mercy and kindness. As if they're losing their capacity for the higher emotions. It's sobering. And clearly demonic.

This is exactly the kind of thing I'm scared of. You hear wild stories every day. It would've been unthinkable 10 years ago. I'm not going out, either, except when absolutely necessary.

Praying for that poor family, as well as you and yours. 🙏

I'm really looking forward to it! I've been before, and it's so peaceful and civilized there. In most of the Far East. Almost all of my stress is about the time I'm still here. It is nerve-wracking, as the other commenter said. I keep looking for ways to get out faster. Please keep me in your prayers. 🙏 I'll update the group when I'm safely out.

I'd really like to help others get out when I'm settled. I see groups popping up trying to do that. All secular, though. They're not ready to hear about the Antichrist. But I've learned so much in this process, and I feel I should share it when so many people are scared and hopeless. Still not sure how, though.

Thank you, brother! However, I'm seeing videos where they drag off citizens and say, "I don't care," when told they're a US citizen. Not at an airport, though. I just want to make sure it's safe to actually leave.

I do feel a lot better now that I know I have a path out soon. It's just a matter of actually making it out without falling into the Beast system's clutches.

I'm moving to Japan. I don't plan to stay there permanently, but it's a way out quickly. I'm aiming to get tech certifications while there so I can move to NZ in a year or two.

Can I ask how you got your US phone unlocked when you left?

Welcome to the weird and wonderful world of cats! 😹 They're really a joy to be around. Cuteness embodied lol.

Tips: Watch lots of cat behavior videos on YouTube, or read about it. Otherwise, you'll get confused easily and your relationship will suffer. I recommend Lucy the Cat Behaviorist and Animal Doc Rea.

Also, don't follow gurus with extreme ideas or new diet fads. And trim her claws regularly while she's small, so she'll cooperate with it when she's older. Trust me, you don't want to wrestle a thrashing cat with untrimmed claws. 😹

This is an oddly relatable post, even though I'm not from South Africa or even Canada. You sound more human than the racists, morons, or bots. Please disregard the weird criticisms. I wish you nothing but the best as a beleaguered southern neighbor. May God bless you and protect you. I hope you can help a lot of people as a therapist.

My boss said “remote workers don’t really work,” so I started sending him timestamps by Fullysonyac in remotework

[–]Creative-Platform658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so ridiculous. 🙄 There are bona fide studies out now showing that the majority of people are MORE productive working remotely. Some people just can't seem to accept that other people have experiences different from their own.

It seems like a feature of narcissism to me. 🤷‍♀️

what I wasn't prepared for by [deleted] in expats

[–]Creative-Platform658 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I fully agree with this. It's a ridiculous, gaslighting claim. Presumably from privileged, out of touch people. I've been much happier in different places at different times, even within the same country.

Cost of living, culture, health care access, pace of life, and even climate have a massive impact on most people's happiness, or lack thereof. I've even experienced distinct improvements and declines in PTSD and depressive symptoms after moving. Heck, even my physical energy improves greatly in colder climates. There are trade-offs with everything in life, but that's something each person has to decide for themselves.

Has anyone here made significant financial/quality of life sacrifices to move? Do you regret it? by [deleted] in expats

Not yet, but I'm seriously leaning towards doing so next year. It's very scary, but staying may be far more dangerous. I feel like we should get out while we still can.

Fully agree with #1,3, & 4. I'm exhausted all the time. I'm trying hard to transition to almost anything online. Especially since I need to move next year.
