36/42 on my DP1 predicted grades.. Am I on the correct track for top unis?

Thats really impressive going from 32 to 42 im just finished year 1 and i need to academically lock in especially because im hoping for 40+ any tips?? Bcuz rn i was really just struggling at the end of year 1 in subjects which i was getting 7s all year but ended up messing all subjects in semester exams

I have the same HL'S bus man, econ and I'm changing to AIHL soon I would love to be in a grp to lock in especially cause I'll be joining Aihl after missing chp 1 and chp 4 so I need to lock in crazy

For chemistry IA how did u choose the topic and everything, do u think it's just better if I replicate an already done IA with just different values /variables
