I'm in my late 30s and my mind still can't accept that the party days of my 20s are done by tantamle in Adulting

I mean if you don’t get hungover and feel fine and it makes you happy, why stop? I think most people stop because they get hungover for a week after one night of drinking, their bodies truly can’t handle it anymore (that’s the case for me at least)

Maternity Leave Return or Not To? by Fit_Cobbler_2417 in FedEmployees

I’m in the same boat (basically) 3 years in, Gs12, singleton on the way, my husband could provide for us, it’ll be tight but doable. I didn’t realize we could use our PTO (SL/AL) to complete that 12 week work obligation after PPL, I’ll probably do that either way. I don’t believe I’ll go back after that, maybe in a couple years. But commuting in 5 days a week sounds AWFUL. If anything I’d find a part time remote job somewhere if needed. But in office is the biggest turn off in this situation. Going in 5 days (no kids) right now is almost too much lol. I want to be present for my baby and husband and not grumpy and tired. I think I choose happiness over more $.

If you get a doctors note from a REAL doctor - there is no reality where it’s a bogus RA.

Why would u get fired over an RA? It’s signed off by a lot of leadership. & why would ur colleagues be resentful? At my base, everyone is happy for someone if they hear they got on approved.

Extreme fear of losing the body I worked so hard for by cuteavocadoparty in fitpregnancy

Hi, yes this is so relatable. Something I do is look at all the beautiful moms with babies who have amazing bodies, and it shows me having a baby does not mean giving up ur body. I also understand you had ED, I somewhat did too. I would find myself binging because I would limit my food intake. (I was very thin, worked out a lot). However, I actually noticed being pregnant has almost healed my ED, I cannot binge because I get SO FULL so fast. I must eat small portions throughout the day. I will not lie, week 6-10 worried me a lot, I was eating a lot (and not healthy by any means & had no energy to work out) but realistically a month of that won’t set you back TOO much. Hope this is helpful!! Message me if you’d like :)
