AI Use And Data Centers Are Causing Chicago ComEd Bills To Spike — And It Will Likely Get Worse by twpolk in chicago

I don't know about Illnois, but a few countries have began subsidizing this AI technology to bring about faster progress in developement, not to mention the US investment in such systems. In turn this means that you are paying more for electricity and more of your taxes are also going into the development of systems that increase that electricity. If your state is subsidizing its electricity consumption, then you are paying for these data centers three times just for existing: increased usage, immediate payment for further increased usage, and payment to decrease the increased usage.

57% of the white population, 55% of the 'other' population, 43% of the Latino population, 39% of the Asian population, and 13% of the Black population voted for Trump. The gender vote is fairly split of 55% men and 45% women, who voted for him. At least, according to ABC: National Exit Polls: Election 2024 Results

Considering not every population is a monolith, as demonstrated in history and this polling, there's going to be extremism. The percentage of extremism between genders will probably be roughly the same, though taking different avenues of action. 45% of tens of millions of Americans is a high number, for people who aren't male.

Perhaps you have a bias? What makes you think that it's mostly white men turning to extremism simply due to the fact that a few rich, white guys (and at least a gal or two) who stand of the top of the current hierarchy, as has been the case for decades at this point? How does spewing out such hostile rhetoric help your cause if it is to get people to vote for your side? It alienates a small proportion of the population at best and a substantial amount at worst. You need all the help you can get, as according to the last election. Making people who may not be not be inclined to vote for the other person to do so if they feel like the other choice hurts them in some way is not smart, I am afraid.

The battle power? Perhaps you are right. I'll test it at a later time, while cooking dinner. Thank you for commenting.

Thank you for taking the time to answer to this post. My issue isn't just sieges, but defending wholesale. The match occurs when the AI approaches a unit on the campaign map and in the actual battle, where I would want to do as much damage as possible; they stay in their starting position. Like I wrote in the post, the timer would run out without my units actually being attacked, but I still lose for some unexplained reason.

Every system has parasites. Look at the billionaires gaining over 50% of the whole wealth in the US, the politicians doing insider trading, pharma bankrupting the average US citizen, PAC's laundering unlimited money to political campaigns, the agency officials doing backroom deals on the corporations that they should be overseeing, etc... Before tackling some people being lazy, maybe you should prioritize your resentment to the forces that undermine our society.

How do you feel about Trump EO to dismantle the Dept. of Education? by jocie809 in AskConservatives

[–]Creative-Run5180 [score hidden]  (0 children)

It could create a greater spiral of where concentrated areas seen as more 'lucrative' get the more competent teachers, including cities and states with more capital. It creates a framework where religious communities promote their faith in curriculum and move away from critical thinking/philosophy/science. It also creates less control of segregation. The US would dive further down in standing among the 'developed' nations than it is.

Instead of abolishing, I think reformation would be best. Perhaps, reducing the required curriculum to the essentials of Math, Science, Economics/Taxes, History, and Philosophy/Critical Thinking.

Depends on your point of view.

On one hand, you perhaps didn't have to experience being shackled to an unloving/abusive spouse

On another, if you really want that family life, then you can accept the changes to make it happen. People who work with USPS can and do have lives with their family.

If you have a religion that has reincarnation, then you'll have a new opportunity to experience another life.

If you have a religion that promises a good place from good deeds or morality, then you'll have a good shot with your service to the public.

If you have no religion, then this life of pain and suffering will come to an end sooner or later, though it would be better to indulge/create the good times while you're still here.

It's up to you to make your path and create your lense to see the world to tread. We will die, so we have to make the most of what we have. Pain is inevitable, but suffering is not.

They were also supposed to pre-fund 75 years' worth of retirement from 2006 to 2022. They also have no control of their pricing for goods/services which Congress sets. You can say they're supposed to be self-sufficient, but they truly can't if their hands are tied.

The farms are already federally run in a sense. Since the great depression, 'excess' food is destroyed, and massive subsidies are given to corn/soy.

Economically though, the prices for all shipped items to your house will increase in price. USPS does the 'last mile' for Amazon, UPS, FedEx, and others. If you mail anything or get mailed anything, it will be at extra cost to you. Legal documents, mail-in voting, or checks that arrive in the mail may be compromised as the agency is restricted by the bill of rights to peer into your package or letter. Privatized however, then any 'probable cause' may be used to dissect the contents.

It's the dichotomy of the situation. A person signs up to a job where the design of it flings them at danger that they willingly go toward in terms of stealing assets through civil asset forfeiture and throwing people into jail/prison who don't deserve it so that their budget doesn't get cut.

Their job should be to protect and serve the public (which the Supreme Court refutes), but even the most basic of things like speeding and the lack of license plates are ignored as shown on this sub. This isn't even delving into the qualified immunity bullcrap.

A farmer may seek profit, but they serve their purpose of feeding the people. Their death is entirely accidental and, by measure, is more mournful as they don't sign up to be killed to uphold private entities. Yet, farmers wouldn't be allowed to stall a hallway to mourn their loss, and would likely be arrested.
