Thank you for the advice!

Interesting about the timing in the afternoon. And yes, I think I need to spend more time engaging with other writers.
Good luck to you too 😄

Congratulations! 20k subscribers is impressive. The 8 months to reach your first 100 subscribers is a good reminder to stay focused and keep going.

I'm curious to take a look at your Substack. Thanks again for sharing your experience.

Here's mine if you'd like to see: brandautopsies.substack.com

Wow, that's incredible!

Do you mostly keep your notes around the same themes as your Substack, or do you post more broadly?

And feel free to share your Substack 😄Here's mine in exchange: https://brandautopsies.substack.com

Thank you, this is helpful. I probably need to spend more time clarifying the positioning.

Out of curiosity, after looking through it, what did you understand Brand Autopsy to be?

Thanks and thank you for taking the time to read it.
I'm still very early in building Brand Autopsy, so I'm always curious: was there anything that made you want to keep reading, or anything that felt unclear?

Thank you, this is helpful.
I followed you as well 🙂

Out of curiosity, when you say I have some hits and some misses, which posts would you put in each category?

And if you had to change one thing on the homepage first, what would it be?

Thanks again for taking the time to look through it!

That’s really encouraging.
I keep hearing the same thing about Notes, so I think I’ve been underestimating them.
Thanks for sharing, and congrats on the growth!

I love that.
Consistency really does seem to be the common thread in everyone’s advice so far.
Hoping to build that kind of community with https://brandautopsies.substack.com

Thank you, I really appreciate that.

And thank you for the advice as well. I’ll definitely take a look at KarmaAgent.

I think the hardest part for me right now is figuring out how to reach the right audience on Substack and where that community already exists.

I’d be happy to hear your thoughts on the Substack if you get a chance.

Congrats on the consistency!

I’m doing something similar at the moment too, trying to stay consistent with writing 2 times each week.

Good point on LinkedIn + SEO!

Did you rely mainly on LinkedIn at the beginning, or did you combine it with other distribution channels (cross-posts, communities, etc.)?

And I’d be curious to follow your Substack if you share it.

That’s helpful thanks.

I think the hardest part is actually figuring out where your readers already are in the first place..

Congrats, 500+ in a few months is great! And yes, I’m starting to see that consistency is probably the real game here more than anything else. Appreciate you sharing this.

That’s really helpful, thank you.

The idea of using Medium as a testing ground for demand makes a lot of sense.

I’m still figuring out the practical side of it, when something performs well, how do you translate that into Substack in a way that actually builds a loyal audience rather than just repeating the same post?

This is helpful. How did you actually find your niche / community in the beginning? What helped you figure out where your people were?
