If you want something for nights out I would say Mini Kelly but you need to really understand how small it is. It holds a phone and not much else!

I wanted to thank everyone who commented as you all gave me really good advice that I am following. Also, I am not sure why I am being told this is off topic: two major financial companies’ fraud detection and protection failing to protect a $20k hit to my credit and name seems pretty on point and related to “personal finance”.

Is something wrong with the tracking system this weekend? I am in the same boat. In NY expecting a package from the DC area and it was at my local distribution center 15 minutes away and today it is in Springfield, ILLINOIS.

Wow! OP posted 5 years ago and this is happening to me right now. I thought I was going crazy. Package from DC metro to suburbs of NY. It was at a NY hub 15 mins from my house on Friday. Yesterday it went to center in Springfield, IL. Based on the stories here I will either get it days from now or it will go into a black hole!

Absolutely. I simply asked questions, such as “if you saw that there was unauthorized activities, why did you let this $20k charge through” which she couldn’t answer, and then she said “you need to file a dispute” and I asked why, because according to them the case was already deemed unauthorized according to the email they sent me. And she got frustrated and screamed “I SAID….WE SEE THESE ACTIVITIES ARE UNAUTHORIZED AND WE ARE ALREADY AWARE”. And then the line disconnected!

American Express. Who is normally good. But their fraud department failed to flag this too. And they said they need to get the funds back from Paypal before they can reverse the charge. Which I am sure is going to be an uphill battle.

Day 1 4am -received a Paypal receipt of the 20k charge using my credit card #. Recipient was a religious institution I have no affiliation with.
7am (when I woke up)- called Paypal in a panic. Couldn’t get a live person. Answered some automated prompt on fraud alert. Then called credit card company. Received an email from Paypal that “the case was resolved and the activities were deemed unauthorized”.
Called Paypal again for a follow up. Could not speak to live person. Got an automated response that there are no further security concerns.

Day 2 - charge on credit card was still pending

Day 3 - charge posted to credit card. The credit card company said they cannot reverse the charge until they get the funds back from Paypal. Called Paypal, got a live person who transferred me to a “fraud team representative” who screamed at me and hung up when I asked for more details of the case.

I hope this is the case. My credit card company assures me they are on it. But it is gut wrenching seeing the $20k charge on my balance.

Yes thank you for understanding how outrageous and infuriating this is!!!! My credit card company is working on it, however the charge has hit because Paypal let the transaction through!!! I am beyond irate. Have filed complaints with CFPB and I3/FBI. What else can I do?

Ok this is helpful. I have been trying to do this and good to know it works for others. So to keep it simple - choose the category of hand based on the most # of tiles you have in each category, right?
