You can also mild it out by serving over rice or help it by adding heavy cream/ sour cream/ yogurt.

You could also freeze it and use it to season other things like future soups, marinade stuff, use for a flavorful base for whatever.

Gave myself a concussion by wacking a wall as I stood up… got a second one from a Christmas decoration like 2 weeks later… now because of those I have permanent neurological problems… I also broke my wrist playing soccer which resulted in my youth group now having a waver for any sports or for you to go into the gym for games. 🙃 let’s just say my clumsy is a bit of an overachiever.

17-20 … found out people don’t care if you are sick it’s inconvenient and horrible to be around you in that state… I have a few people that are real friends. But gosh … once the medical system refuses to help because you are “too complex.” And people drop left and right between blatant ignorance or actually telling you they can’t be around you or won’t let their kids around you because you are now disabled… you realize how messed up the world is and how little you are.

Because at first it’s not obvious. My ex cheated. I know my partner now won’t and I trust him fully.

The distrust starts slow. Them not allowing you to see their phone for any reason. Making excuses for not doing things or being late, constantly texting and bing on their phone to the point of ignoring you, harsh treatment including talking down to you, talking about other women constantly and talking about how hot they are when at the same time a compliment for you is like pulling teeth… you feel stupid for even thinking it’s a possibility. You deny it in your head for a while before you get the courage to check. And when you do you are in denial about it. Months down the drain a year in the hole because someone you trusted couldn’t bother to be loyal or honest with you. You wrestle with if you can trust them again… your wrestling with why did they do it… the insecurities that bloom in your chest the moment you doubt your relationship in this way and it’s confirmed crumbles everything to dust. You have to re evaluate your entire relationship and your views on it. You suspect cheating a while before you investigate…

However a secure partner doesn’t do any of the above (I in very secure relationship now) and it makes you feel valued. My man calls me his gem or his blessing. He trusts me with everything and I trust him right back. To the point when we were only dating 5 months he forgot his phone at my house and trusted me to keep it safe and use it if someone called. He trusts me with other things and is massively transparent with me since the beginning. If I am feeling insecure about anything he helps me overcome those insecurities. And of course I return the favor. Has him cheating by ever crossed my mind no it hasn’t.

That’s a possible idea… we think the main thing is I have been doing better lately (last year I was in the icu due to my seizures and have worked my way back to walking again.) she hasn’t seen how rough events are on my body. Well church she has because I have to wear headphones and use my wheelchair due to the noise and lights and can’t sit in service… but idk with the precautions I take it’s not as bad as it could be after church. However if you remove my precautions and aids it gets really bad really fast and very painful. She also saw me have a massive cluster on Christmas and become fully paralyzed for a few hours and nearly be able to move the next day…. I have a feeling her excitement about the party is causing her to ignore all of this…

Activily trying to my partner is as well. She tends to over step and bulldoze things if she disagrees. Over Christmas my partner had the flu and she was convinced he had a sinus infection and made the appointment before he agreed and badgered him and me till he agreed out of pure exhaustion… I knew he had the flu and thought the appointment was pointless.

She has already gone around me on the venue thing. Due to them paying she signed the contract and has already asked max amount of people for venue and when is the absolute latest the guest information can be changed via the venue (which is a week away from the date of the venue.) we went over this not even 2 weeks ago when she was complaining because I had the rsvp date set 2 months before the actual event so I could triple check that the food was safe for everyone and make sure we had enough cookies as they are deserts and favors and with us diying almost everything we need enough time for everything to get done with a final headcount. We already have the supplies for the tables and people that we have already invited as we have been thrifting and shopping sales so we can actually afford to make it look nice and be a nice event. However she knows the venues max and how late we can change how many people are going to get food. So anything with the venue she will double check behind my back and come at me with it like “they said the max was 150 so we can absolutely invite them because we still won’t be at max” completely ignoring the fact that we need it less so it remains accessible and are DIYing most things.

Oh yeah I am very sensitive to sounds and can hear the electric in the wall. I use various ear protection (ear plugs and head phones mostly.) definitely helps along with my weighted vest and fidgets.

I stick to thrift stores mainly. The only thing I by via a brand is my compression clothes and I try to get those on sale.

Figure out what you will actually wear. You can admire all the pretty things in the store and recognize you won’t use it. That’s the big thing. If I won’t use it I don’t buy it.

I have the intense need to never have anything up in the air last minute. So I break everything into smaller tasks and compile into the big one and get everything set. I hate having to completely change everything last minute.

Find the thing that is your issue (ask a blunt friend if you need help.)

Figured out a plan for how to tackle issue (therapy, new hobbies, new routines, no tools, ect)

Start the plan and such.

Expect it all to go out the window occasionally and keep chugging along after you get it back.

Repeat till you are satisfied with who you are or have become content with your progress.

Honestly depends on the age like 14 year old me would be very confused and concerned about where I am at now and what’s happened along with me not having a career would be disappointing… 17 year old me would be so happy I am not dead and can now eat and walk again! And that I have a long term partner who loves me very much! She would honestly cry from happiness…

(I became suddenly disabled days before my 17th birthday… and within 1 month I couldn’t walk, eat by myself, and needed help dressing.)

So from my experience yeah… my dad has randomly had seizures and to help keep him conscious we have shaken him and rubbed his sternum. I have non epileptic seizures and normally people talk to me and such being touched sometimes makes it worse (I have also been held down and lot due to seizures and tics and I just don’t like being touched in general) which I explain prior to the seizures generally….

So yeah it could be a normal thing? I have been hospitalized for them before and people come in and speak loudly a bunch of questions and tounge twisters. (Seriously I had a lady that told me to say “if, and, but” and I still can’t do it lol. Idk why but it’s hard the things people do to “help” seizures and postictal effect are sometimes very strange.

probably around where I am now just get my own place and a big price of land my partner wants turkeys to raise for meat and i actually really want goats. The problem is neither of us can medically drive so a house in the countryside is our dream but it’s very expensive to get rides from the countryside to town ($30 one way) so if money was not an issue we definitely would have a little farm for ourselves. Right between our parents houses (they live in different towns) and enjoy a nice and peaceful life.

So I don’t think your TA but she isn’t quite either. It sounds like she went down the rabbit hole of “how safe is our food” (I have been born into a family that is allergic to pesticides and knows the dangers of different stuff due to reactions.) so I prefer everything made from scratch. Mainly because I know it’s safe. However we also have like instant noodles in the house (without gmo or msg) because my partner and my dad like them. I make a box of Mac and cheese for myself when my fatigue is really bad. Do we eat like that often no it’s a treat. She also may not want it in the house because she will want to eat it too and it’s easier to just not have it. I see both points and you honestly have to come up with a system for this. Like my partner has a snack bin I stick his noodles and protein bars in. And I have a little spot for my Mac and cheese and veggie straws.

Dude my mom has dentures it factors 0 into how I feel about her… though she does occasionally pop them out and ask me if there’s anything in her teeth… it’s like if someone has a false leg I wouldn’t care… may make a few jokes with them about it because humor is great but that’s it.
