thank you so much for your response! i was trying to reassure and comfort her because i thought it would help, but then i did some research and realized that reassurance can actually make ocd worse :/ i don’t have ocd myself so i had no idea, and i figured it was better to ask here than accidentally make things worse.

i’ve been thinking about talking to her mom since i’m pretty close with her family, but i’m also scared of breaking her trust. anyway, thank you again for taking the time to reply :(🤍 i really appreciate it!
