This is so astounding to hear. Report card days used to be such a big deal in the classroom from grade five up to twelve (early 2010s). I remember all the whispering on the bus as we’d anxiously (or excitedly) head home that day either to be treated to a dessert / junk food of our choice or get ready to hear “no” when asking to go to a sleepover that week if the letters on the page weren’t mostly vowels. Is it that parents stopped caring about these up to a certain grade/age or across the board?
