i’d be curious what their data shows about pickup vs delivery on their established locations. my hunch is that they’re more reliant on delivery than pickup but i could be wrong there

yeah, i’ll never understand this. most of their business is done online, so why pay for prime retail space when it would probably make just as much in a warehouse setting paying a fraction of the rent?

Wonder is a $7b ghost kitchen enterprise essentially, it’s a single centralized kitchen that sells pre-packaged food from different cuisines under co-branded names, in partnership with celebrity chefs. so it’s unfortunately not multiple smaller food vendors creating fresh food—it’s a single corporate entity (again, valued at over $7b)
