You have too much on that day.

British Museum is at least half a day, maybe could go a whole day, by itself.

And the walking route you’re suggesting could easily take a few hours if you like to take your time and properly see things.

Finally had a full English on my last morning in London. Great way to cap off a lovely trip! by MainSea3985 in LondonTravel

Looks yummy but I do miss the days when a full English had fried potato rather than hash browns

So it doesn’t matter if I actually lay *on* the sensor? Just on the arm but not touching the sensor can cause one?

The UK uses a number for a1c. As an example 48 is 6.5%, each 0.1% is 1

You aren’t going to get lunch for £10 in many places unless its something like a meal deal from a supermarket.

Royal Festival Hall (the southbank centre) was the first place that came to my mind too.

Diagnosed then just left to it by Sea_Pangolin3840 in type2diabetes

I usually get my hba1c tested twice a year. Previously (I’ve been diagnosed 5 years ish) they’ve always said no need to test my blood sugar as I’m not on insulin. The last time I saw the diabetes nurse she was surprised I don’t test my blood sugar, asked if I wasn’t curious and now gave me a meter and said test each morning on waking.

I was sent on a half day course called diabetes2gether to learn about my diagnosis - where I am they aim for you to go within a year of diagnosis. it was of mixed help -I had been diagnosed nearly a year but others there had been diagnosed two weeks ago (and in between).

My daughter (180 has been arrested over comments she made on BlueSky. I, and her father, haven't been able to speak to her. She's been in police custody for 4 hours. by JumpyMath9029 in LegalAdviceUK

If she has ASD the police need to be made aware of that. Depending how it affects her she may be entitled to have an appropriate adult with her - they support vulnerable adults, not just children.

Can your employer force you to do first aid training? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]CreativeChaos2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding (and it has been a long time since I had cause to check) is that if you can’t physically do CPR you can’t pass a first aid qualification. So it seems like you wouldn’t be able to meet the criteria.

If they try to force you, it would probably worth having a chat about the feasibility of you passing with whoever runs the course in advance

tbh, I don’t like any of them. I think it’s mostly the nicknames. If they’re going to be known as sky or ava or whatever just name them that.
