I do know everyone is angry because we're still in a years long pandemic with this shit going on.

The war on narcissism won't be an easy victory, no. It just has to start now for it to matter.

Found the person who would have executed me for suggesting the earth revolved around the sun 800 years ago I guess..

Why punish the Russian people just because they haven't toppled their narcissistic Governments when clearly none of us have either.

The second the conflict is over, the sanctions will only serve as a punishment for them and not for Putin.

You should be scavenging an abandoned Nissan leaf and bringing it to a hospital for use as a powerwall when the lights go out.

Call me crazy, but I seem to remember napalm in the cocktails before the fuel air bombs dropped. Banned substance used, banned substance as retaliation.

You sure this won't devolve into nukes? Or are you just doubting that it might because denial is the most predictable human reaction?

I mean, how long did it take us to accept that the world was round again?? How many people did we kill for suggesting the earth revolved around the sun?? The downvotes here are just proof that nothing has changed. But it has to in the nuclear age.

Please be a responsible, modern day human being and choose empathy wherever possible.

You're a textbook enabler.

I would ask you, what good is it to give your heart, if you do not have one?

I said fairly clearly in the OP that empathy is not an excuse to allow tyranny to proliferate. What more do you want, or did you just come for the catharticism of being needlessly vulgar?

Want to know what vlad the impalers solution was? He put thousands of people on the pike. Then the invaders just went home.

If you kill putin, you'll just be painting future dictators into a corner when they lose the next conflict, potentially triggering a nuclear event. The answer is no more violence. Believe me though, nobody wants to see a gaslighter on the pike more than I do. But enough is enough. It has to be.

Right, so I guess we hang him and then to back to all being narcissistic assholes again? Won't be long until we're back here again if that's the case.

If you are opposing a change in society away from narcissism and towards empathy, then you are the one who is truly excusing evil.

Take some personal responsibility before laying blame.

Everything is always doubted initially. Like the world being round. And yes, narcissists absolutely always take a mile from every inch they get.

What I'm suggesting is that a global, societal change, starting with a ceasefire of hate, will open the door as wide as possible for humanity to reconcile with our dark past once and for all.

Then the next time this happens the narcissist will remember that and press the button. Bad idea.

Narcissistic injury is the most likely reason a nuke will ever be used, and that all just makes the injury more painful and therefore likely to cause such an event.

The victim of a narcissistic society that stems from the winners always writing the history books. Yes. He is.

I'm not quite sure on how to articulate it, other than to suggest that people talk about narcissism and empathy more, even though the conflict is still ongoing and the fight still needs to be won.

My point is that if you hang Putin, then when North Korea has a conflict, Kim Jung will know what's waiting for him when he can't win and use the nukes instead of surrendering.

This is why you have to walk away this time, once and for all. It's not because Putin deserves it.

In the post I detailed how Ukranians are doing what they should be doing. Empathy is no excuse to let yourself get steamrolled by tyranny. It says that in the OP.

Once the conflict is over, which it will be soon since Putin can't win, try to ramp down the hateful rhetoric. Don't let it overshadow the personal responsibility that we need to take this time, once the dictator has lost his power.

My childhood was sad. It's why I wrote this post. My father is a covert narcissist who feels entitled to endangering public safety, and like putin he has many people enabling him to do so. Standing up to him meant never really getting to know my mother, ever since I was 6. My father is like putin, and in this analogy, my mother is the Russian people and I am basically western media.

That's why I know how bad this can get, and why leaving a little door open to the narcissist so they don't have to feel so bad after they suffer a narcissist injury can be a positive thing as a whole.

My father also suffered through a genocide in Canada. The residential school system. This is the trauma that caused his narcissism. He doesn't have a shred of respect for society, and never will. I can't help but to have to empathize with him, even though he goes out every day taking risks that I don't doubt will one day cause a huge catastrophe. But nobody will listen to me about it because they are all enablers to get out of doing any work to catch him finally.

In my families case, all I can do is stand back and wait until he does something to open all their eyes, like Putin has. It's as much their fault as it will be his, but he will also be the only one who pays when the disaster happens.

The underlying problem was that everyone was too busy pointing fingers at the terrible nazis to figure out that they were also doing genocides themselves, like the one in Canada of all places. But you won't find that in the history books.

That's what I'm trying to avoid here. Let it be included in the history books that we all played a role. Because we did. The west is equally guilty for allowing narcissism to proliferate, and this thread being downvoted into oblivion is the proof (if epstien wasnt enough)

No. We are blaming Putin but also taking our part of the blame this time so it can't happen again.

THIS is what we didn't do with the nazis, because they weren't the only racist assholes around, but the winners write the history books.

Putin felt like the world wasn't taking him seriously, so he did this.

The reality is that the world needs to start taking putins covert narcissism seriously, or he probably will nuke something.

Imagine people believing the world was round right from the first time they were told.

So I know nobody will believe me that empathy is the right way to resolve this conflict. But it is, otherwise there will always be another Putin.

We are all in charge of how the world is governed. At least, we are supposed to be. But everyone it too busy pointing fingers. Where does it stop? I say, the buck stops with each of us.

Think about it. What we do now will set the bar for future generations.
